This document outlines a research study that aims to investigate the effectiveness of forum discussion in enhancing students' oral communication skills. It identifies the lack of strong English speaking skills as an issue among Malaysian graduates. The study will use an experimental design with an experimental group that uses forum discussions and a control group with traditional teaching. Data will be collected through classroom observations and questionnaires to analyze effective instructional strategies, communication barriers faced by students, and the impact of forum discussions on oral skills. The conceptual framework shows the relationship between these factors. Quantitative data analysis will be used to understand the results.
