David has taught English in Rome for 19 years. He introduces himself and his experience teaching English. He discusses what students want from the intermediate English course and strategies to adopt such as practicing real English and separating study from practice. David recommends dictionaries, language learning websites and forums, and the English Grammar in Use book to help students progress past the intermediate plateau.
