Asking Question
1. We ask questions for confirmation and information. There are two types of questions: yes/no questions and Wh questions.
2. To form a question sentence, the auxiliary verb comes before the subject. For a yes/no question the format is: Auxiliary verb + Subject + verb + object?. For a Wh question the format is: Wh word + auxiliary verb + subject + verb?.
3. There are four types of auxiliary verbs: be, have, do, and modal verbs. Wh words like what, where, when, why, who, which, and how are used to ask for specific information in Wh questions.
