The Rafflesia arnoldii is the world's largest single flower, growing up to 3 feet wide and weighing 15 pounds. Found in Indonesian rainforests, it is a parasitic plant without visible leaves, roots, or stems. When in bloom, it emits a repulsive odor similar to rotting meat to attract insect pollinators. Another enormous flower found in Indonesia is the Amorphophallus titanum, also known as the "corpse flower", which smells like rotting flesh.
