● Roots therm = hot or warm.
● Endothermic reactions are the irreversible chemical
changes.
● E.g, Sodium hydrogen carbonate + citric acid = Sodium
citrate+water+Carbon dioxide.
● Endothermic processes are the processes in which
change of state takes place and energy is taken in from
the environment.
● E.g, Ice cube changing from solid to liquid.

hydroxide + hydrogen ) and acids (

acid).

❏ E.g Liquid turning into ice, boiling water, etc.
