This document provides information about study visits organized as part of the European LIBNAM project, which aims to promote the use of natural materials and low-impact building techniques. STUDY
VISITS
• Presentation
of
the
European
Libnam
project
The
objectives
of
LIBNAM
are:
1) to
support
the
competitiveness
of
businesses
and
their
"green
know-­‐how
"
with
a
view
to
thermal
regulations
(passive
construction)
in
2016
in
England
and
in
2020
in
France.
2) to
promote
the
use
of
natural
materials
in
low
impact
building.
The
project
involves
structures
that
accompany
and
prepare
businesses,
prime
contractors,
clients,
building
professionals
and
future
building
professionals
to
economic
and
environmental
changes.
Showcasing
exemplary
building
sites,
study
visits,
demonstration
actions
and
the
creation
of
resource
centres
are
the
main
activities
of
the
project.
