Online Event Management System Offers hassle free
management of events
Events are special affairs in life and managing an event can be a daunting task for
individuals particularly for those who are organizing an event for the very first time.
The Very Online Event Management System is one stop solution for both event
companies (Vendors) who till date manage events manually and for people (User)
who want to host an event but are unable to keep a check or track there event. It is
an online market place where Buyers meet sellers.
Problems in Existing System
 Delay in information search and retrieval.
 Problem in updating of current information and maintaining proper backup of
information.
 Possible damage of the paper carrying the information, thereby chances of loosing
valuable information.
 Much time required in providing correct information.
 Secrecy of information may not be maintained due to visible facts on paper.
 Less reliability and maintainability of data.
Objectives of Our System
The system must perform following function:-
 To provide on all services required for organizing an event.
 Allow administrators to add details to index to provide accuracy.
 To save the precious time of administration.
 To save the precious time of users by giving customized web site.
The objective of our system is to create a user-friendly system
which will be more efficient, save time and be easy to use.
SALIENT FEATURES OF PROJECT
Online Event Management System is a multivendor system. The entire
system is divided into three modules
 Vendor Module
 Administrator Module
 User Module
 A vendor can create his account on his site and book the order according to their
schedule. He can see all the order that are available for the booking and book an
order.
 Administrator reserves the rights of managing the entire system. He can see all the
orders booked by the client (User) and can view which services are booked by the
vendors and which services are pending for booking

Future Scopes of Proposed System
The proposed system is currently a beta version that is not on production phase.
At present the system only accepts user’s bookings, it does not allow users to pay
against booking.
Payment Gateway integration.
Customer and Vendor notification through Email or SMS.
Enhanced security verification methods can be incorporated i.e. mobile number
verification.
Third party login i.e. login via social network websites.
Conclusion
 From the above study it can be concluded that the ‘Online Event Management
System’ is more efficient, flexible, adaptable, secure, easy to debug, test and easy to
upgrade.
 Thus, we can say that this system fulfills most of the necessary requirements that is
