Emotional design to ease moms out of guilt and shameNatalie Mandriko
Our journey into emotional design has started with the most shameful topic among women - postpartum depression. Uncovering deepest secrets of motherhood was a great UX research challenge. The emotional life of motherhood is complex. Designing for emotions mean not only inducing positive feelings but moreover reducing negative feelings that have a huge impact on people happiness and health. We hope your emotional design solves the root problem in human lives.

Telecommunications Consumers: A Behavioral Economic AnalysisEmre Sarı
A brief review of the article, which is published by Peter D. Lunn. Telecommunications Consumers: A Behavioral Economic Analysis is "a commentary on consumer behavior in modern telecommunications markets, based on advances in behavioral economics. The core argument is that the combination of FBB, PSTN, Mobile and TV properties, which is unique to telecommunications, is likely to foment decision-making biases established by behavioral economics. This central insight is used to address two issues of concern from a pro-consumer perspective: low levels of switching between providers and failure to select optimum tariffs."
Building a Growth Engine for Startups (cezary.co)Cezary Pietrzak
This is a presentation I did for the inaugural Techstars Atlanta class. It covers three main areas of building a growth engine for startups: 1) marketing fundamentals (target audience exploration, messaging, moments + places), 2) testing + data (growth hypotheses, marketing funnel, data strategy) and 3) marketing channels (paid ads, message automation, lead gen, referral program). For each section, I provide relevant frameworks, bring them to life with examples and recommend my favorite tools and platforms.

Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

Orangutans are like people – they
have thoughts, emotions and
personalities. And due to the
deforestation of their home, in
which the rain forests are cleared
by fire to make room for palm oil
plants, they are going extinct.
With this grant I am going to put
myself in the center of the
destruction and travel to Borneo
for three weeks to support the
Orangutan Foundation
International by building a much-
needed structure for the
organization to thrive.
Upon my return to the US, I will
share my story and inspire change
within the company by putting
together LinkedIn’s very own

environment for them where
they can have a sustainable
income stream.
