Energy storage batteries are offering extended lead battery cycle life. The choices energy companies make will be driven by price, safety, reliability and sustainability. The growing debate about the recycling of batteries, and in particular the source of materials used in their production, is becoming more pertinent. As governments grapple with the policy implications of eliminating greenhouse gases and creating a non-toxic environment, it is the latest application of an older technology, one which has stood the test of time, which is set to help propel the renewable energy revolution forward. We have exclusive technology to rejuenavate batteries and extend their life which is an environmental friendly bringing down carbon footprint and cost effective bringing down Capex. With today’s “Green Energy” concerns in mind, this is a process that would be categorized as eco-friendly. There are no chemicals to be added to the battery or unnecessary disposal of battery cells by way of regenerating them back to a useful state that is 80% of its original capacity (+/- 10%).The capacity of a battery determines how long your battery can power your tool between charges (this is called runtime). The greater the capacity the greater the runtime. Capacity is measured in Ah or mAh, our service improves Ah manifold.

Pricing the future automotive retail market: connectivityDaniel Bracke
Automotive consumers are fundamentally shifting their
view of the automobile from a product to a mobility solution
that delivers seamless connectivity and a consistent omnichannel
experience including excellent aftermarket services.
These trends will require automotive original equipment
manufacturers (OEMs) to shift their retail pricing from a
product to customer-centric approach. Developing multivehicle
branded mobility solutions with integrated telematics
to provide consumer-specific connectivity options and
predictive aftermarket services will become a market necessity

Overall telecom costs are stable or declining slightly across countries. The number of mobile subscriptions continues to grow while average revenue per user (ARPU) is decreasing. Data usage volumes are increasing which offsets the decreasing cost per data unit. Private mobile usage accounts for around 22% of total usage, representing a significant potential savings area. Moving to bring-your-own-device (BYOD) policies does not necessarily increase costs but companies need to monitor high data roaming and add-on costs. "Flat fee" subscriptions require careful evaluation of potential cost savings. National data usage remains a large cost category that needs management.

Boost and equalize charge with limited voltage window - an Eltek White PaperEltek
Designing a DC system requires consideration of the ability to work within a certain DC voltage
window. The maximum voltage provides the high-end of a voltage range that is available to
charge the battery, whereas, the minimum voltage gives the lowest voltage within that range that
is acceptable to the system so that the battery can be discharged.
It is not unusual for this voltage window to be very narrow, where specifications can be as close
as +/- 10% from the nominal DC voltage.
This limited system voltage window can be a challenge to take into consideration when
designing a DC system, especially when using it with Ni-Cd back up batteries that have a wide
voltage window. What is needed is a boost or equalize charge to reach the maximum voltage
that is effective for the attached batteries.
This paper will present a different system designed to

Cost Saving and Excellent Payback for US Exchange Carrier - an Eltek Case S...Eltek
Switching to Eltek Valere’s Scalable DC Power System Delivers Excellent Payback for Leading Local Exchange Carrier
Scalable DC power solutions provide efficiency, flexibility and space savings resulting in excellent ROI and short payback period
Telecom network power systems are some of the most durable systems in a central office (CO) – sometimes lasting for decades. But when these systems start to fail and replacement or maintenance costs begin to rise, it is time to evaluate the costs of ongoing repair versus replacement. This is the situation in which a large U.S. local exchange carrier found itself with nearly a dozen of its central offices across the country.
This Eltek Valere customer is one of the largest local exchange carriers in the United States and provides local, long distance, high-speed data and wireless services to both residential and business customers.

Expense with High Efficiency Power Systems from Eltek Valere
An Eltek Valere Case Study
Many carriers are realizing increasing power consumption and costs as they
move to new content- and data-oriented services and expand their wireless
networks to include 3G and 4G technologies. Managing this power consumption
is a critical initiative for these carriers to stay cost competitive. Increasingly,
carriers are evaluating power system technology as a key part of their efforts
toward making a significant impact on power consumption, because
approximately 80% of the power consumed by a telecommunications carrier
passes through these devices.
High Effiency Power Solutions for Next Generation Small Cell Networks - An El...Eltek
The growth of the mobile Internet has been more dramatic than any pundit could have imagined. Fueled by the iPhone and other smartphones, enthusiastic mobile Internet users have turned to email, video, Internet surfing and mobile apps in such overwhelming numbers that several significant network crashes have occurred. This has spurred carriers to quickly update their networks on two fronts: first, by moving to 4G high-speed wireless technology, which is specifically designed to support mobile Internet use; and second, by augmenting existing macrocells with small cells to bring coverage to wherever users are.
How to Reduce Total Cost of Ownership of 4G-LTE Networks - an Eltek White PaperEltek
How six features and capabilities of DC power systems can lower the total cost of ownership of 4G/LTE networks. Published February 2014.
Carriers spend an estimated $36 billion globally on energy expense to keep wireless base stations online. That includes $21.9 billion in grid power, according to ABI Research, and another $14.6 million in gasoline and diesel for gen-sets according to the GSMA. That cost has risen dramatically in recent years as energy prices continue to climb and the number of base stations increases.
The high cost of energy explains why the use of alternative energies to power base stations is on the rise. But it doesn’t explain why some carriers focus solely on getting the lowest capital cost in procuring the DC power systems that manage this power. There has been so much innovation in recent years that DC power systems are far from being commodity purchases.
Given this new technology, a total cost of ownership analysis for buying new systems is a balanced way to consider the purchase price and the ongoing cost elements. With a two to five-year payback on these systems, and a ten- year or longer useful life, it could be argued that maximizing these cost-saving features is even more important than seeking a lower capital cost.
This whitepaper will look at the key ways that a DC power system can save money for wireless carriers, including high efficiency, support for alternative energy, intelligent monitoring power density and design for reliability.
Monitoring of Lead Acid Batteries - an Eltek White PaperEltek
Eltek's Gunnar Hedlund demonstrates different methods of predicting premature capabity loss in your battery park.
No foolproof indicators/tools for knowing and predicting the health and life of a lead acid battery have been evolved or devised. The only way to truly determine the health of a standby lead-acid battery is to perform a 100 % capacity test, according to the battery manufacturers discharge table.
Such a capacity test means that the battery needs to be disconnected from the load and another back-up battery connected when the capacity test is performed. However, comprehensive controllers and instruments are now able to find failing cells without this test and while the battery system is online.
A large number of techniques have been explored and tried out in the field. No single method or test instrument is capable of foolproof prediction about the residual capacity without performing a 100% capacity test. On the other hand, by combining some of them the state of health and expected residual life of the battery can be predicted more precisely and reliably. This is especially true in the finding of failing cells in a standby lead-acid battery.
Eltek and our Americas Region President Allen Pitts named as one of the 2014 industry game changers in this article published in February 2014.
"Those who influence with knowledge and character rather than a big booming voice. Those who know their area of expertise like the back of their hands WHILE they constantly seek to learn and conquer new opportunities across the telecom industry. Game Changers are those who lead by example and walk their talk."

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs
