The CCNAB Cisco Boot Camp is an intensive 5-day instructor-led course to help students pass the CCNA certification exams. The course provides both self-paced online learning and hands-on lab exercises to teach students how to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-sized routed and switched networks. Topics include Ethernet, wireless, routing, WAN technologies, VLANs, ACLs, NAT, and IPv6. The course is suitable for network professionals seeking CCNA certification and a career in Cisco networking.
This presentation talks about the comprehensive differences between CCNA [Cisco Certified Network Associate] and CCNP [Cisco Certified Network Professional] in detail.

IPv6 configuration at CSCS
● Dual Stack approach
● Static addressing for networking equipment and servers
● Dynamic addressing for PC and guest networks
– Auto configuration with SLAAC
● But we still rely on DHCPv4 to distribute DNS
– Tests ongoing for:
● Distributing DNS via RA (RDNSS, RFC6106)
● DHCPv6
IPv6 deployment
5
● Configure the network part and FW/ACLs
– Test
● Configure IPv6 on the systems
– Test
– At this point the system uses IPv6 and IPv4 for outgoing
connections
● Publish the AAAA resource record into the DNS with short TTL
– If test is succesful: set normal TTL for the RR AAAA
– Now the system is fully IPv6 enabled
IPv6 lessons learned
7
● Some network devices send out RA even if they shouldn't
– Impact: machines get IPv6 global address
● Disable SLAAC autoconfiguration on all the servers
● Rogue RA:
– Impact: default gateway changed! No IPv6 connectivity anymore..
● Filter RA messages at the network level
● IPv6 ACL: be careful not to filter NS/ND messages
– Impact: you may break IPv6 connectivity
● On IPv6 ARP is replaced by ICMPv6 NS and ICMPv6 ND messages
● Firewall IPv6 limitations (CLI config needed, WebGUI not ready)
● Services not listening on IPv6. Remember to configure ssh, httpd, etc to
listen also on IPv6

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202
How to Build a Module in Odoo 17 Using the Scaffold MethodCeline George
Odoo provides an option for creating a module by using a single line command. By using this command the user can make a whole structure of a module. It is very easy for a beginner to make a module. There is no need to make each file manually. This slide will show how to create a module using the scaffold method.

1. CCNAB - Cisco Boot Camp
Cisco CCNA Certification Fast Track Programme
Course Desciption
Based on the Authorised Cisco ICND1 and ICND2 courses, our CCNA Boot Camp provides a proven and intense program
to help you achieve your CCNA certification. You will be provided with self paced E-learning prior to the course which
should be completed prior to attendance to ensure you obtain the maximum benefit from the 5 days Instructor Led Training.
These 5 days are slightly longer than the usual training day and will be fairly intense to ensure that you have both the skills
and knowledge needed not just to pass the exam but to use within your workplace.
The Cisco CCNA certification is an important stepping stone for network professionals looking for a successful career in the
Cisco Networking arena. CCNA validates a student’s ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size
routed and switched networks, as well as implementing and verifying connections to remote sites in a WAN.
The revised CCNA has greater breadth – including more coverage of security and troubleshooting as well as an introduction
to wireless concepts and terminology. The new curriculum will provide more compelling lab exercises with more time for
hands on practice. The cost of this course incorporates a exam voucher for the combined CCNA exam (640-802) however
we strongly recommend that the exam is not attempted until at least two weeks after the course.
Target Student
Individuals who possess a general networking background, have some experience with Cisco IOS, and are seeking CCNA®
certification should consider this class as the quickest way to meet the requirements of the CCNA exam.
Delivery Method
Instructor led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.
Performance-Based Objectives
At the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
• Describe how networks function, identifying major components, function of network components and the Open System
Interconnection (OSI) reference model
• Using the host-to-host packet delivery process, describe issues related to increasing traffic on an Ethernet LAN and identify
switched LAN technology solutions to Ethernet networking issues
• Describe the reasons for extending the reach of a LAN and the methods that can be used with a focus on RF wireless access
Describe the reasons for connecting networks with routers and how routed networks transmit data through networks using

2. TCP/IP
• Describe the function of Wide Area Networks (WANs), the major devices of WANs, and configure PPP encapsulation,
static and dynamic routing, PAT and RIP routing
• Use the command-line interface to discover neighbours on the network and managing the router’s startup and configuration
• Review how to configure and troubleshoot a small network • Expand the switched network from a small LAN to a
medium-sized LAN with multiple switches, supporting VLANs, trunking and spanning tree
• Describe routing concepts as they apply to a medium-sized network and discuss considerations when implementing routing
on the network
• Configure, verify and troubleshoot OSPF
• Configure, verify and troubleshoot EIGRP
