• The process of getting the value of the resistor by
the color embedded to the carbon resistor.

40. PROCEDURE IN COLOR CODING THE VALUE
OF RESISTORS
• Identify which of the color is the first band of the
resistor. Take the resistor and see the color gold or silver
(tolerance). The tolerance must be at the right side of the
color set of the resistor when held. The most left color of
the resistor is the first band when the start of reading
takes place.

second band gives the second number, the third
