14. SYMPTOMS POSSIBLE DEFECT
No Power. T.O.P is defective, AC chord is faulty.
Fan Blade is slowly rotating/ Fan Blade is
not rotating but has a humming sound.
Bushing is dusty, or needs to change, check
starting capacitor, clean bushing.
Fan Head is not rotating/ cannot rotate its
head.
Change gears in the Gear Box.
There’s an input of current and has a good
T.O.P but the unit is not functioning.
Check the motor if there is no disconnected
coil, Check motor if wires are properly
connected, The motor is defective.
The selector switch is faulty. Check the connection of the selector switch
if wires are properly connected.
Electric fun is rotating but doesn’t blow
any air.
Inspect the Fan blade if it is still in the
proper form.
