Unit 11 – Kingdom People If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin. 1 John 1:7
Day 1 – On Mission to the World God has the world on His heart! To be related to Christ is to be on mission with Him. Every congregation is a world-missions strategy center. What world mission emphasis do you think God has in mind for our church?
Day 2 - Koinonia A church is a vital, living, dynamic fellowship of believers. Koinonia is the fullest possible intimate fellowship with God and with other believers. I cannot be in true fellowship with God and out of fellowship with other believers. When God honors your church by placing a new member n the body, ask God to show you what He is up to. He wants to touch your community and maybe even the worlk through your church.
Day 3 – Koinonia in the Kingdom Everything a church has belongs to the Kingdom. When Christ is allowed to rule, barries erected by humans inevitably fall. As my church experiences koinonia with other groups of God’s people, we experience greater dimensions of God’s presence at work in our world.
Day 4 – Essential of Koinonia Koinonia with God is an experience of His presence. I must love God with my total being I must submit to God’s sovereign rule. Ask God if there is anything in your life that competes with your love for Him. Ask God if you are absolutely surrendered to His lordship in your life.
Day 5 – Essentials of Koinonia I must experience God in a real and personal way (have a personal encounter with the living Christ). I must completely trust in God. Are there any ways I trust in other people or other things rather than in the Lord as my Provider? In our fellowship: Are lives being transformed? Are broken people finding spiritual can emotional healing? Are people personally encountering the living Christ?
