Teachers need practical and quick-to-implement strategies to encourage their students to develop a growth mindset. Students with a growth mindset believe that ability can change as a result of effort, perseverance, and practice (“Math is hard, but if I keep trying, I can get better at it.”). Students with a growth mindset see mistakes as ways to learn, embrace challenges, and persist in the face of setbacks.
Students with a fixed mindset believe that their own intelligence and talent are innate traits that don’t change (“I just can’t learn math.”). These students typically worry about not looking smart, get upset by mistakes, and give up sooner on tough tasks.
High-performing students and low-performing students may have either mindset. Whether or not students are aware of their mindset, a broad body of research has shown that what they believe about their own intelligence can affect their effort, engagement, motivation, and achievement as measured by test scores, school grades, passing rate in post-secondary education, and other metrics.

Teachers need practical and and quick-to-implement strategies to teach self-management to children. Many people are familiar with self-management through Walter Mischel's Marshmallow test. (Some people call it self-control or self-regulation.)
Self-management is a key enabler for all learning (for children and adults!) whether for academic subjects, other content areas, or skills like playing a musical instrument. Self-management allows students to follow through on plans to complete assignments, study for tests, and manage their emotions to stay focused in class.

20090515 - Tuning Your Mind To Improve Interpersonal Relations 23sviswanadham vangapally
Many a time we are seriously, not-serious. This is mainly because, we do not notice the importance of tuning our mind. This presentation was used, to tune the minds of the participants before the main presentation is introduced. This may just contain very general points, and nothing else; but the purpose is to make the participants begin to question, to feel, and thus to tune their minds. Thus, when the mind is getting ready, the chances of certain thoughts, getting sown in their minds, would multiply, and hopefully, the time invested would turn out to be a profitable investment in their future. That is the purpose of all exercise, of all training, and thus of all tuning of the mind. Tuning, just as a starter, would be of considerable help both for the presenter and the members of the audience.

Green, growing and Curious was presented by small business trainer and mentor, Despina Karatzias on Thursday 29th May at the City of Greater Dandenong - South East Business Network for Women.
Thank you to all the incredibly talented women in business in the room for your time, attention and active participation during our time together.
This is all about the states of mind which are often undiscovered and unidentified whereas they occupy the major part of our brain and we often fail to recognize them. When we identify these states of mind, it also gives a great level of clarity and understanding our own mind. Once we are able to have the clarity and understanding of mind, we will be able to unlock many hidden parts of our mind which were always there to help us reach our full potential. This slide has helped me and my friends very much in seeing our own personality in a different dimension and has helped us to have a healthy relationships with people surrounding us. I am hoping this slide would help in feeling all the aforesaid things and reach great heights in your personal and professional lives!!
Our personality is what specifies us. It is our technique of talking, walking, dressing up, nonverbal communication and such traits that make or maybe mar our impression about others.

The case study discusses the potential of drone delivery and the challenges that need to be addressed before it becomes widespread.
Key takeaways:
Drone delivery is in its early stages: Amazon's trial in the UK demonstrates the potential for faster deliveries, but it's still limited by regulations and technology.
Regulations are a major hurdle: Safety concerns around drone collisions with airplanes and people have led to restrictions on flight height and location.
Other challenges exist: Who will use drone delivery the most? Is it cost-effective compared to traditional delivery trucks?
Discussion questions:
Managerial challenges: Integrating drones requires planning for new infrastructure, training staff, and navigating regulations. There are also marketing and recruitment considerations specific to this technology.
External forces vary by country: Regulations, consumer acceptance, and infrastructure all differ between countries.
Demographics matter: Younger generations might be more receptive to drone delivery, while older populations might have concerns.
Stakeholders for Amazon: Customers, regulators, aviation authorities, and competitors are all stakeholders. Regulators likely hold the greatest influence as they determine the feasibility of drone delivery.
28. Do to others what you want
them to do to you.
Do you want others to love you?
Do you want others to respect you?
29. Do to others what you want
them to do to you.
Do you love others?
Do you respect others?
Or…..
30. Do to others what you want
them to do to you.
Do you love only those who love you?
Do you respect only those who respect you?
31. Do to others what you want
them to do to you.
If you do love only those who love you, and
respect only those who respect you, you
will occupy your heart with some room for
love and some room for hatred, some room
for respect and some room for disregard!
32. Do to others what you want
them to do to you.
If you so occupy your heart with a partly
goodness or with a partly love, your
communication will also be partly and will
not be effective!
33. Do to others what you want
them to do to you.
The mind is always occupied with thoughts
except when we sleep.
The mind is a room.
The room can occupy goodness.
If allowed, it can also occupy violence.
34. Do to others what you want
them to do to you.
The fruit of communication is based on the
seeds of good thoughts.
35. Do to others what you want
them to do to you.
Therefore, in order for your communication to
be effective, show love and respect to all
no matter what!
