Summary
Gwenn has been a life time resident of the Harford county Maryland area, graduated with
academic honors in 1993 from North Harford High School and is currently Phi Theta Kappa at
Harford Community College; where she attends in an effort to expand her career opportunities.
Using her equestrian abilities, she created a coaching and training facility, Old Forge Hill Farm;
that would allow her the flexibility to raise three children. Her children; two of which are now
adults themselves, also attended North Harford High, where her fifteen year old is currently
enrolled. Her daughter is proudly serving in the U.S. Army and has recently returned from
deployment in Afghanistan; while her adult son is attending flight school.
It is Gwenn’s belief that the future of our country depends on the proper education of youth, as
well as, the example set by their mentors. With this in mind, she incorporated these beliefs into
every aspect of her equestrian business ventures. Obtaining her policy training through UME;
she has mentored children; young adults; held Girls Scout Seminars; and has volunteered her
leadership, through equestrian related 4-H clubs.
After Gwenn’s own children became school aged she took the position of Chief Executive
Officer at E&B Body and Paint Inc. in 1996, where she obtained her DuPont I-car approved
SMART damage analysis certification for automotive repair. Gwenn’s interaction with a variety
of individuals, along with a natural ability to grasp and analyze the various complications
involved in political and world affairs, as well as, her research and studies, in a vast array of
other subject areas, has developed her desire to have a more personally fulfilling career; while
realizing she has set the bar high, in hopes of a career in International relations, security, and/or
diplomacy. Gwenn is open to travel and/or relocation, according to job suitability, security and
advancement opportunities.

May 2011 - Present (3 years 8 months)
Realizing that 9/10 individuals have their first riding experience at a very young age, and that
this riding experience set the tone for the rest of an individual’s life; I considered reaching out to
those who may become potential riders. To accomplish this I felt that a fun, safe experience, was
the only way to go, however, offering structured riding lessons was not reaching enough
individuals before their first experiences. I realized that our area did not have any quality party
pony operations and felt this was a great way to reach out to the community. I did not venture
into this business to be successful in and of itself. I do not advertise, all business is word of
mouth only. My staff includes friends, boarders, family, students and myself. Each event is
planned specifically with the client in mind. Creativity has drawn a lot of attention and a
following to our little guys! We have held charitable events for churches and community fund
raisers; personal birthday parties for children; as well as events for local businesses in the area.
We have ALWAYS had great experiences, and enjoy the smiles on the children's faces more
than anything. It makes the time spent completely worth the hard work and effort we put into
each and every event!

My experience in the equestrian field is a quality that I take great pride in. Much of my
experience is "hands-on". I believe that there are some things you cannot learn from a text book.
I've worked with many students with a variety of skills and abilities; young and mature. It is my
belief that students each have their own learning style, and it is the coach’s job to discover what
works best for each particular student. As with any educational involvement, it is important to
keep the student interested, involved, and excited. I've noticed that praise works best with any of
my students, and if they are having issues picking up a new skill, it is my duty to figure out a
way that will work for them as an individual.
