This document summarizes an efficient biometric system using iris detection. It discusses how iris recognition is an effective biometric identification method as the iris texture remains stable over a person's lifetime. The proposed system involves detecting the pupil boundary using pupil boundary detection, localizing the flex and full light reflex, and contrast stretching. It then performs seed filling and detects the iris boundary, providing samples of detecting the iris boundary with the proposed system. In conclusion, iris recognition is highlighted as the most accurate biometric identification due to the stability of iris texture over a lifetime.
