culture, as an Administrative Assistant
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
 Sorting out documents all financial documents according to their sequence and pre
numbered order.
 Verifying the accuracy of documents, checking financial accounts originating either
from the head office or the project areas as required.
 Data Entry, entering information regarding financial documents or inputting numbers
into a spreadsheet.
 Maintaining withholding tax collection and payment, collecting appropriate withholding
tax and payment made to Ethiopian Revenues and Customs Authority.
 Prepare monthly Income tax and Pension Contribution
 Reporting, unsettled advances and cash transfers to project account.
 Maintaining Employee Provident Fund, register each staff monthly saving provident
fund and reconcile it with bank account.
 Support, implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
 Audit, assist with preparation and coordination during the audit process.
 Communicating immigration office and processing on arrival visa for foreign guests
when there is an International meeting
 Requesting visa permit for International meeting guests
 Keep proper filling and documentation including the library
 Keep employees personal files
 Manage all incoming and outgoing correspondences.
 Organize workshops
 Take minutes during staff meetings as well as during the Annual General Meetings of
the Organization
 Communicates with partners, donors, members, etc in the absence of the Director
 Manage all the materials and supplies of the organization
