This document proposes an environmental protection project called "ECO SBMT: Save our Planet" to be implemented at the faculty. The project aims to involve students, faculty, and administration in environmental protection activities. It includes organizing waste paper collection and producing notebooks from the collected materials. Other activities are using eco-dishes in dining halls, holding an energy saving competition between dormitories, organizing forest cleanups, and promoting bike commuting with bike parking. The project aims to preserve forests, reduce emissions, promote waste-free production and a healthy lifestyle. It requires funding, youth organization support, cooperation with bike organizations, and eco-friendly supplies.

2. Nowadays we see dramatically increasing
scale of the negative impact of human
activity on the environment.
Therefore, as part of our faculty we offer to
implement the project "ECO SBMT: Save our
planet".
The aim of this project is to attract the
largest possible number of students, faculty
staff and administration of SBMT for
Environmental Protection.

3. Our project is large and
includes the carrying out of a
series of events

4. Organization of a few days in a year for the
centralized collection of waste paper and transfer the
collected raw materials for processing.
Organization point for sale to students and employees
corporate copybooks/notepads SBMT produced from
the collected transmitted processing of raw materials.

5. Using in the dining room of SBMT eco-dishes
and selling ecological food.
Implementation of the competition «Student
Switch Off» between dormitories to energy
saving.

6. Organization of the spring and summer ecological
expeditions for students, in order to collect garbage in
forests, hiking trails etc.
Holding "days on the bike" on regular basis for
students, staff and administration, as well as the
establishment of a permanent parking space for those
who arrive on a bicycle in SBMT.

• Preservation and protection of forests from being
cut down in Belarus;
• Reduction of the air discharged from the exhaust
gases of automobiles;
• Waste-free production;
• Preserving and maintaining the purity of the nature
of our country;
• Familiarizing students, staff, administration of sport
and bringing them to a healthy diet.

realization of the project
• Funding University
• Support from youth organizations

• Cooperation with Minsk cycle traffic

• Coordination of some of the activities
with the guidance of BSU
