According to a global survey, Belarus ranks 61st out of 144 countries in terms of financial literacy, with only 38% of the population considered financially literate. A new online learning portal aims to improve financial literacy, especially among schoolchildren who will shape the country's economic future, by providing accessible online courses on finance theory and practice. The courses will cover budgeting, taxation, and developing basic financial knowledge, with the goal of increasing overall financial literacy in Belarus.

worldwide.
In Belarus only 38% of the population can
be considered financially literate. It turns
out that about 4.7 million adult Belarusians
are financial ignoramuses. But for the
development of stable and prosperous
economic there’s an obvious need for
competent people in government as well as
educated population.

3. Our learning portal is aimed at
schoolchildren (as they will be the ones who
determine economic future of our country),
but will be available to everyone. The portal
will have accessible online courses including
different directions in the finance sphere,
which will contain a theoretical part (theory,
basic economic concepts), a practical part
(solving problems, case studies), footage of
both teachers and students of SBMT and
various professionals, tests and tasks for self-
control. The issuance of a certificate on
completion of the program is provided.
