innocent human being to death by capital punishment, cannot be ruled out. The only purpose it serves

Gregor Mendel played a huge role in the underlying principles of genetic inheritance. Gregor was
born, July 22 1822 in Heinzendorf, Austrian Silesia (now known as Hyncice, Czech Republic), with
the name Johann Mendel. He changed his name to Gregor in 1843. He grew up in an Augustinian
brotherhood and he learned agricultural training with basic education. He then went on to the Olmutz
Philosophical Institute and later entered the Augustinian Monastery in 1843. After 3 years of

This hypothesis can be divided into four main ideas. The first idea is that alternative versions of genes
account for variations in inherited characters. Different alleles will create different variations in
inherited characters. The second idea is that for each character, an organism inherits two genes, one
for each parent. So that means that a homologous loci may have matching alleles, as in the true
breeding plants of Mendel s P generation (parental). If the alleles differ, then there will be F hybrids.
The third idea states that if the two alleles differ, the recessive allele will have no affect on the
organism s appearance. So an F hybrid plant that has purple flowers, the dominant allele will be the
purple color allele and the recessive allele would be the white color allele. The idea is that the two
genes for each character segregate during gamete production. Independent assortment states that each
member of a pair of homologous chromosome segregates during meiosis independently of the

intellectual independence and leadership (Cardona, 2005). Albert Einstein the Jewish mathematician
and physicist was born on March 14,1879 at Ulm, in Württemberg, Germany. He is acclaimed for his
theories in physics specifically the theory of special relativity, the general theory of relativity and the

Attending A Magnet School Program Essay
Attending a magnet school which based its education in the arts I never realized how drastically
different my curriculum was than that of other middles schools. The difference went beyond middle
schools in my district or state, but affected me closer to home at my high school. In middle school,
education more frequently came from collaborative coursework rather than traditional lesson plans.
The transition to high school was difficult because it seemed that students focused on social status and
school administration focused on standardized testing scores. When looking at my education
compared to course readings, I have found that despite my two schools being in the same school

James Fallows in his essay on Viva Bilingualism argued that bilingualism should not be feared by the
people in America. The author claimed that it is possible to learn more than one language and by
doing so, people connect better with one another. He stated that there is no need to adopt English as
the official language, because that is understood. Fallows proved that America won t have separation
problems because of its uniqueness compared to other countries. Simply learning two different
languages can be extremely beneficial to Americans. He believed that English is a strong language but
despite of that he had a strong incentive to learn Japanese. Immigrants that come to America have

A Student Board Representative For My School District
Fifteen years ago, I served as the student board representative for my school district. All I can really
remember is being entertained by emotional parent complaints and listening to jargon filled
presentations. Upon receiving my first pink slip from that same district seven years later, I spoke at a
school board meeting for the first time. Three years later, I was motivated by another pink slip to
speak in front of a school board this time as a teacher for my current school district, San Diego County
Office of Education (SDCOE) Juvenile Court and Community Schools (JCCS). Since that first pink
slip scare with JCCS, I have been a regular attendee at SDCOE board meetings. I try my best to pay
attention and even take notes when JCCS is on the agenda. I have spoken on behalf of my students
and coworkers and even helped to introduce my site s student board representative. However, I
