The Human Race Progress Without Communication
How much would the human race progress without communication? The procedure of communication
has been vital to any growth or development made by humans over the years. From humanity s
beginnings as cavemen, with no formal communication system, to modern days, when people can
seemingly communicate with anyone, anywhere, it has always been very important. Communication is
a series of processes involving certain key elements and the relationship between them, allowing
people to form and interpret messages, states Christopher L. Johnstone s text book The Art of the
Speaker. According to The Art of the Speaker, the communication process starts with the sender, who
generates the message. The Communication Model document defines the sender as the one who is
responsible for creating or generating the communication. The Art of the Speaker claims that when
something arises as a thing to be communicated, it then becomes the subject matter of the message. A
message is a structured set of behaviors or actions. For example, the sender may want to communicate
the message that he is in favor of gay marriage. The Johnstone text says that the message contains
both conscious thoughts, or cognitive meanings, and often unconscious feelings, or emotional
meanings.
Next in the process, the sender must choose to communicate cognitive meanings through symbols,
defined by the Communication Model document as behaviors performed more or less consciously and
voluntarily to represent experiences

Early Life Of The Minotaus
Imagine having the body of a man, but the head and tail of a bull. Now imagine your mom is a human
and your dad is a giant bull. This is what the Minotaur had to deal with his entire life. The Minotaur
was the most unfortunate character in Greek mythology considering his appearance, early life, and
adulthood. The Minotaur had a terrible body appearance. He had the head and tail of a bull, but the
body of a man. He was very large and considered a monster and an unnatural being because of how he
looked (Karas). Many people also probably ran away from the Minotaur even only after getting a
glimpse of him, not even getting to know him more. This could ve been a contributing factor as to
why he started eating people later in life. The Minotaur also had the worst early life of any character in
mythology. For one, his dad was a great white bull, and his mom, Pasiphae, was a normal human
(Garcia). Many people wonder how his parents were two different creatures. Minos, the husband of
Pasiphae, once had two brothers, and they all wanted to become King of Crete after their father passed
away. He bragged that he had the favor of the gods and could ask for anything. He prayed to Poseidon,
and he listened to Minos. Poseidon sent him a majestic white bull and told him to sacrifice it. Having
received the bull, Minos demonstrated his power to his brothers and became king, but he did not
sacrifice the white bull. Poseidon became angry, and cursed Pasiphae to fall in love with the bull.

Point Of View In Charlotte Perkins Gilman s The Yellow...
A story s point of view helps the reader get the writer s perspective. As such, one can determine the
truth about a character thus affecting their response to the character. It also influences the reader s
response based on what the narrator knows or their objective. In Charlotte Perkins Gilman s The
Yellow Wallpaper the point of view is in the first person. The narrator participates in the action of the
story. In A Rose for Emily by William Faulkner, the writer uses the third person point of view and lets
the reader know how the character feel. As such, one learns about the characters through an outside
voice. As such, the narrative of any story is a crucial asset to help the reader get the point, theme, or
message of the material.

The viewpoint of this story is meant to create sympathy for Miss Emily regarding her obsession with
Homer, without condemning her.
The Yellow Wallpaper can also be tied to this theory since it spins an exciting tale of how a wife of a
doctor becomes guilt ridden with depressed after the birth of her child. As a result, her physician
husband decides to place her under homecare to help cure her of her disease (3). However, this only
serves to intensify her illness and put a damper on her marriage. The first person point of view in this
story helps one to catch a vision of what a suffering woman must endure. The first narrative also
influences the reader to be able to connect to the narrator in a humane way.
Further, the first person standpoint in this story provides the reader access only to the woman s
thoughts thus limiting the reader. However, the limited point of view in this story helps is crucial in
letting the reader get into the shoes of the wife and experience the feeling of isolation throughout the
story. The limitation of the viewpoint also involves narrating the story in the present, which prohibits
the main character from the benefit of hindsight

Brother Death
Control has many different meanings for many different people. To most, however, this word brings to
mind one person forcing another do his or her will, but other things have control over people as well.
Sherwood Anderson shows two examples of control in Don and Ted. These two characters have
problems created by their difficult lives. The other characters personalities either help or hinder the
children, creating a family with a constant conflict until one of the characters either changes, or
disappears from the story all together.
Brother Death by Sherwood Anderson is a short story about power. Don and Ted both want to be in
control of their life, but different circumstances take that away from them. Ted wants to live ... Show

She describes what they look like and even gives a little background on them so the reader can get a
better idea of their personalities. Ted changes once during the story, with the help of his sister, Mary.
Before this change occurred, the family always made him upset by never letting him do the things that
he wants to do. They constantly watched him and told him to be careful, not letting him run or play.
Mary, seeing the injustice of this, decided to do something about it. One day, when Ted and Mary got
back from swimming in the creek, Louise, their mother, told Ted he mustn t. The rest of her sentence
left unsaid, but nonetheless clearly understood. He mustn t do all the dangerous things he does. While
Ted left out of anger, Mary stayed her ground and argued for her brother, telling Louise she should
stop reminding Ted of his illness and leave him alone to do as he pleased. Her argument took Louise
by surprise so much that she decides, to Ted s great joy, to give the children their freedom. When he
dies at the end of the story, Mary feels he had a happy life. Don, in Mary s mind, had the hardest life
of all.
The conflict between Don and his father John shows another way situations in life can have control
over someone. Anderson describes Don as almost an exact copy of his father in everything from his
personality to his looks. Anderson shows her readers using direct characterization a

Vitamin D Deficiency
Background: Vitamin D deficiency is widely prevalent in the world. Several lines of evidence support
a relation between seasonal variations in serum vitamin D and higher relapse rates in MS patients in
winter.
Objective: To examine whether levels of vitamin D are associated with multiple sclerosis relapse.
Methods: In this study 60 patients in relapse and 60 patients in remission matched controls were
included.
Results: patients in relapse had significantly lower 25(OH) D levels than 60 patients in remission
matched controls (p= 0.004), Vitamin D insufficiency ( 10 ng/ml) was significantly higher in patients
in relapse compared to those in remission (p= 0.03).
Conclusion: The results of our study indicated that an association between lower serum 25
hydroxyvitamin D levels and higher risk of relapse among people with multiple sclerosis (MS).
Keywords: Multiple sclerosis, 25 hydroxy vitamin D
Introduction Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a neuroinflammatory disorder of the CNS, that most common
affecting among young adults, particularly more prevalence in high latitude regions (1 4), and believed
to affect over 2 million people in the worldwide (5). Although the aetiology of MS remains unclear,
but the prevailing thought is that MS is triggered by both genetic and environmental factors and their
interactions have been implicated in developing MS (6). Vitamin D is a steroid vitamin that acts like a

The Call Of The Wild Character Analysis
The Missions of Buck, Ghulam Ali, and Theodore
There are many different people that have taken on missions and have found a way to accomplish
them. From The Call of The Wild, Buck wanted to adapt and survive in the Klondike. In The Other
Side of The Sky , Ghulam needed to find a new way into Pakistan to better the life of two families.
Out of Kid Lawyer, Theodore wanted to find his kidnapped friend and not lose their friendship.
However, all three were determined to work hard for their goal because they all needed it to live
happily.
Buck was a sweet house dog whose goal was to adapt and survive in the Klondike. He was stolen and
taken to a new place that he had never been before. Once he saw a dog was killed due to her injury, he
knew he was going to have to adapt and survive on his own in the Klondike. Along the way Buck
endured many hardships, he was in a fight to the death for the leadership position, he could tell he was
going to need fight and he did, he used his imagination and successfully defeated Spitz. The passage
states, Buck stood and looked on, the successful champion, the dominant primordial beast (London

The Tell Tale Heart Response
The Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe was published in 1850. Poe calmly tells his story about his
murder of the old man. A man that has never done him wrong. The character feels as if it s not himself
personally, it s his eye. His are like a vulture s, pale blue. The main points in The Tell Tale Heart is
easy to point out and describe. He points out he could not do his job with his eye closed, so he goes on
night after night looking in his room.
The Tell Tale Heart is about the main character murdering the old man. He gives great detail about
how he visits his room every night at midnight, and watches him through the door. The style in the
writing itself is very well thought through. It s very wordy for a below average reader. The story

Repko And Rezostak
Interdisciplinary studies can be recited as a degree plan that will allow students to use their knowledge
from pervious field to another field study. In the textbook the authors Repko and Szostak (2017),
describe interdisciplinary as studies between two or more fields of study. This can also be considered
as a research study that will enhance knowledge in understanding a variety of complex situations
while constructing a field study. Repko and Szostak argue that interdisciplinary should be viewed as
complementary to discipline rather than a threat to them. My beliefs is that interdisciplinary can be
beneficial educational path because it can combine an existing knowledge of field study to use to

Health Care Utilization
The Affordable Care Act was signed into law March 23, 2010 by President Barack Obama; however,
the constitutionality of the law remained in question. In a controversial 5 to 4 ruling, The U.S.
Supreme Court upheld the law on June 28, 2012. The ACA is thought by some as the United States
health care rescue, and as its downfall by others.
It is estimated that the ACA will provide new services to 64 million Americans, providing health care
coverage to 32 million previously uninsured. In addition to providing new health insurance coverage,
the ACA implemented several components that can expand access to health care. One policy ... Show

The aim of the ACA is to provide affordable health care to all Americans, but it still leaves some
issues unaddressed that will impact the access to health care. Covino (n.d.), Though the intentions of
the legislation are good, the Affordable Care Act does little to improve the actual health care delivery
system (para.1, page 2). According to the American Medical Association, we are facing an increasing
Physician shortage. As of 2010 we faced a shortfall of 13,700 physicians, the estimate is that number
will increase to 62,900 by 2015, 91,500 by 2020, and 130,600 by 2025 (Krupa, n.d.), with primary
care taking the largest impact. Health Care coverage will be of no benefit if there are no doctors to
treat the patients. An example of this occurred in 2002 when Thailand s 30 Bhat Scheme added (CNN
n.d.) 14 million people to the country s health care system, resulting in long waits and subpar service
(Your health is covered, but who is going to treat you?) Several factors contribute to the physician
shortage. Many physicians are reaching the age of retirement, the Association of American Medical
Colleges estimates nearly 15 million physicians will be eligible for Medicare in the coming years
(CNN n.d.). The increasing cost of malpractice insurance also deters many from pursuing a career in
medicine, and is forcing some doctors to retire. Also contributing to the physician shortage is a lack of
spots in residency programs. In 2011, more than 7,000 were left

Banking industry is currently operating in the maturity stage. There are many players as a result of
which the competition is quite high. Competition is broadly based on the levels of fees charged,
reputation, the range of services and products provided. As the industry consolidates and the range of
services broadens, the size and geographic spread of industry players in increasing. Providing a high
set of barriers is the capital and regulatory requirements within the banking sector. Entities that want
to start up as a commercial bank and/or investment bank or securities dealer face significant
establishment costs in order to gain acceptance and meet market reputation. Furthermore, start ups
require up front expenses in order to establish proper distribution channels. Globalization is high and
the trend is increasing. Cross border sales and acquisitions of banking operations are also occurring, as
assets are shuffled in the race to raise capital.
The cyclical nature of the industry results in it having very high revenue volatility. When economic

Indentured Servants vs. Black Slaves
The Stepping Stones of Labor in America Throughout time, in all places, there is an upper class and a
lower class. During the 16th to 19th century in America people came from all over Europe. People
from Europe found America as an escape from their life; a new start. Some could not afford to take a
boat ride across the Atlantic with their whole family. Because of this, some people became indentured
servants. Later on, the South revolutionized America by bringing in black slaves and getting rid of
indentured servitude. Slaves generated the economy for the South, but was also the main cause of the
civil war. Both slaves and indentured servants were treated badly, however, black slaves were much
more expensive and had to work for life, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After the indentured servants had did their time depending how long their contract was, they were
given money, land and often a sustainable job. Black slaves were permanently slaves and didn t have
as much hope as indentured servants because they had no family and they knew that they were stuck
living their life the way it was forever. Also, indentured servants often had learned some economically
valuable skills, so when their contract was up, they were more prepared for the outside world, while
black slaves were not usually and were not let out. Indentured servants were slaves and dehumanized
during their time of their contract, but often had a better life because of what they learned from being
a servant and their reward. While both slaves and servants typically did similar work, slaves were
bought and put into work whereas indentured servants signed a contract and the owner didn t give up
any money value until the end of contract. During this time the cost of a black slave was about
130,000 dollars. This was a lot higher because this is when there was no more indentured servitude
and the South s economy relied on black slaves for cotton. Paying 130,000 dollars for a slave seems
like a bad investment, but they got the slaves for life and the slaves could reproduce and have more
slaves in the future. The biggest reason why black slaves were a better

Temper Vs Birth Order Essay
I was the second/last child born in my family. I feel that birth order has had a true effect on my
behavior and my personality. It s very easy to compare me with my brother. My brother is the oldest.
He strives to achieve his goal and , as of right now, he s doing a pretty well job with striving.
Comparing him with me, I am more of a social person. I like to hangout with my friends and be social.
I am also more humorous than many people may think. He is more of a serious person. Also, he
sometimes worries about me, only because he wants me to make sure I achieve my goals just as he is
trying to achieve his. Achieving goals isn t just something my brother does just because he is first
born. An Iranian culture is very goal oriented. My dad always told me that if I want to pursue a career
as a lawyer or a doctor, I must do what I can to get to that goal. Since then, I have been interning at the

Value Proposition Of Fedex
Logistics services in the supply chain can be considered as a service offering, with numerous logistics
companies competing to offer comparable services to many of the same consumers. As consumers
hunt for potential providers in this extremely competitive marketplace, logistics service suppliers
should discover approaches to distinguish themselves and their service offerings so as to help them
compete. One established method for companies to differentiate themselves is by building strong
brands. For instance, FedEx has evidently distinguished itself through successful brand management.
The brand value to consumers is usually signify as consumer based equity which happens when
consumers possess a high level of familiarity and awareness with the brand and retains some strong,
constructive and inimitable brand associations in memory (Davis, 2003). Brand awareness is referred

to the strength of the connection of the value proposition with the brand. Overall, FedEx s strongest

brands in the world. Due to FedEx s strong brand name, customer loyalty is developed among
consumers. Consumers who treasure dependable overnight package delivery are liable to name FedEx
as a brand that is strongly linked with that value proposition. Other brands such as Airborne Express
and IPS provide the similar value proposition of dependable overnight package delivery. Nevertheless,
they do not possess levels of brand equity equivalent to FedEx because their brands are not as

Cause And Cons, Causes And Effects Of Deforestation
Background
An environmental issue that has been affecting the globe for years is deforestation. National
Geographic defines deforestation as the clearing of forests in the world on a massive scale, which
usually results in damage to the land quality. Each year, approximately eighteen million acres of forest
are destroyed and until date, almost half of the tropical forests worldwide have been cleared. (
Deforestation: Facts, Causes Effects )
Causes of Deforestation
There are numerous causes of deforestation, which vary according to region and purposes, whether
natural or manmade. However, generally, the three main reasons for the destruction of forests are for
agricultural purposes, logging and ¬¬urbanization.
Agricultural activity ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some common and well known negative effects of it are the greenhouse effect, soil impoverishment
and the loss of biodiversity.
The global crisis of global warming is further heightened because of deforestation. Forests play a
significant role in ensuring that greenhouse gases do not enter the atmosphere by regulating the air
with its natural processes.
Soil impoverishment, is caused during the destruction of forests by increasing the chances of soil
erosion and flooded. Soil erosion is caused by rainfalls and poor crop growth, as there are no crops
protecting and holding the soil together. This would affect the fertility of the soil due to the depletion
in its nutrients. In the long run, the soil would lose its ability to sustain crops. ( What Are The Benefits
of Forests and the Consequences of Deforestation? )
Also, seventy percent of the world s animals and plants are based in forests. Deforestation causes the
loss of habitat to many of these species, which eventually lead to their extinction. Approximately
50,000 species are getting extinct each year due to this. ( Deforestation Effects, Causes, And

Should You Hire an Experienced Hacker to Protect Your It...
In undertaking the daunting task of securing your Information Technology systems, I think you have
to take what ever measures necessary. You can not afford to let competitors or criminal minded
individuals gain access to your vital data. I say who better to safeguard this information than someone
who knows the intricacies of what a hacker looks for when trying to infiltrate a network. I think you
would be making a mistake not to at least look in to hiring a hacker to help your organization.
Fist things fist lets look at what makes a hacker a hacker. Here are some of the various types of
hackers:
Hacker: refers to a type of computer hacker who is involved in computer security/insecurity,
specializing in the discovery of exploits in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Worm: Like a virus, a worm is also a self replicating program. The difference between a virus and a
worm is that a worm does not create multiple copies of itself on one system: it propagates through
computer networks. After the comparison between computer viruses and biological viruses, the
obvious comparison here is to a bacterium. Many people conflate the terms virus and worm , using
them both to describe any self propagating program. It is possible for a program to have the blunt
characteristics of both a worm and a virus. Most people when they here the term hacker automatically
think of a person of questionable morals and intentions. This is not always necessarily thecase. If you
do your homework and find a reputable white hat to add to your security team you would be moving
your company toward stability in securing your systems. Although when dealing with hackers you
always run the risk of infilitration; maybe you end up letting the individual go or they become
unhappy for whatevever reason, but I think the rewards far outweigh the risks. Get yourself a white
hat at the earliest opportunity.

Student Writing Course Reflection
After completing the writing course, I came to realize not only did I need this course, but students here
at Walden should enroll in this class. There are professional writers whom do not always write
correctly; and there is room for improvement (Walden Writing Center, 2015). At the onset of this
course I identified a couple of writing areas I could use help in; however, as the course went on, I also
found helpful tips which enabled me to further my academic writing. Consequently, each week I
learned different writing techniques and implement them into my assignments. After taking the
graduate writing course, I am confident my academic writing will meet the standards for Walden s
dissertation. Accomplishing short and long term goals are a

The Ability To Test Welds Has Progressed Rapidly Over The
The ability to test welds has progressed rapidly over the years. After the discovery of the short pulsed
electric arc in 1800 by Humphry Davy[3][4] and the continuous electric arc by Vasily Petrov in 1802,
there was little development in electrical welding until 1881.Around that time there was little to be
done as far as the rigidity of inspection goes. As long as man has been on earth, we have been visually
testing things to see if it passes our persona critique of standard perfection. With weld quality
assurance Visual Testing (VT) is where it welding inspection all starts. Before the first welding arc is
struck, materials should be examined to see if they meet specifications for quality, type, size,

Floyd Firestone. With the general principle of my device consists of sending high frequency vibrations
into the part to be inspected, ultrasonic testing is applied to many fields of metallurgy withing many
occupations. Ultrasonic testing becomes less suitable when determining porosity in welds, because
round gas pores respond as a series of single point reflectors to ultrasonic tests. UT inspection system
consists of several functional units, such as the pulser/receiver, transducer, and display device. How
Ultrasonic Testing (UT) works is by having an ultrasound transducer connected to a diagnostic
machine is passed over the object being inspected. The pulser/receiver is an electronic device that
produces high voltage electrical pulses, while the transducer, which is driven by the pulser generates
high frequency ultrasonic energy. Separated by test object is a couplant. As sound is introduced, it
spreads through the materials in the form of sound waves. When there is a discontinuity (such as a
crack) in the wave path, part of the energy will be reflected back from the flaw surface. With a few
advantages ranging from: High penetrating power, which allows the detection of flaws deep in the
part, great accuracy, non hazardous operation, portability, and immediate results. A few advantages of
UT are :
It is sensitive to both surface and subsurface discontinuities.
The depth of penetration for flaw detection or measurement is superior to other NDT methods.

Personal Statement On Family Assessment
On November 2, 2016 I drove to Wittier, CA to meet the Galagar family for the third and final family
assessment. To prepare, I utilized Wright and Leahey (2013) Nurses and Families: A guide to Family
Assessment and Interventions textbook in order to guide me in further assessing this family s dynamic
and especially their behavior towards each other as well as guide me in developing a strategy to
conclude my Family Assessment project. It is important to state that assessment of this family
dynamic was taken into account at each of the three meetings, however more so during this meeting
via engaging the Galagers in a game of Sorry and Connect 4. These games were strategically chosen
to allow Galager s youngest daughter, Laura, diagnosed with developmental disability be a participant.
This field note is my reflection not only on my meeting, which will address the Galager Family Power
Diagram, and the Family Attachment diagram, but also my reflection on my growth and development
as a soon to be Advance Practice Nurse.
Once again, I met Galagers in the evening, as it was convenient for everyone. All members of the
family were home, including the three dogs that were barking as I entered the house. This time, to say
thank you for allowing me to work with them, I encouraged the family to order a pizza for which I
paid. This was also a strategy to see how they would accommodate each other while making a choice
for pizza. Additionally, I brought two games with me, Sorry and Connect

Henry Roe Vs Henry Wade
In 1971, a case was filed by Norma Mccorvey, known more commonly as Jane
Roe, against Henry Wade. Henry Wade was the district attorney of Dallas county from
1951 to 1987. Jane filed a case against him because he enforced a law prohibiting abortion unless it
risks the life of the mother (CNN, 2017). Texas had enacted a criminal abortion statute in 1854
prevent women from getting legal abortions. Since it had been slightly modified once and since
remained the same. It stated that abortions were not permitted unless medical advice was provided to
abort in order to save the life of the mother. It had been challenged several times, but Roe Vs. Wade
was the case that changed the preexisting ban on abortion (Justia,2016).
Jane roe was a single pregnant women that resided in Dallas county. She sought a declaratory
judgment that the Texas criminal abortion statutes were unconstitutional.
Roe claimed that she was unwed and pregnant and wanted to terminate her pregnancy in a safe way
done by trained professionals. She stated that Texan law on abortion was unconstitutional because it
went against her right of personal privacy laid out by the first, fourth, fifth, ninth, and fourteenth
amendments. She also stated that she was suing not only on behalf of herself but all texan women
(Justia, 2016). SHe believed that all women should have the right to chose to abort. She filed this
lawsuit to overturn decision made in the case Dole V. Bolton. The court had ruled that an abortion

5th Muscular Organ
Hey guys, today, we re going to learn about the 5th biggest organ in our bodies, which is the heart if
you were wondering! The heart is an important organ that keeps our bodies running well and without
it, you wouldn t be able to live (at all). It is a muscular organ which exists in most animals bodies and
helps their blood circulate around the body. This muscular organ is part of the circulatory system and
has many bodily functions and interesting facts and details like how the organ works.
To begin, there are many functions that the heart does to keep your body running and alive. When you
breathe in oxygen, the heart pumps the oxygen rich blood throughout the body so that the body can
receive the oxygen. Then, after the body receives, the oxygen, you exhale the carbon dioxide that the

The average size of the heart is around the size of the fist of an adult and will beat and average of
115,000 times in a day! In a single day, the heart can pump around 2,000 gallons of blood around the
body it can keep beating even if it is disconnected from the body. The first open heart surgery was
done in 1893 by a person named Daniel Hale Williams who, at that time, was one of the few black
cardiologists in the whole entire world. Also, did you know that the youngest person that needed a
heart surgery was only like a minute old! The 1 minute old baby had a heart detect that made lots of
babies don t survive. The heart surgery that the baby had was successful so the baby didn t die but it
needed a heart transplant (which is a surgery that switches a person s heart with another) soon after the
surgery. Another interesting fact is that even though the American pygmy shrew is the smallest
mammal in the world, it has the fastest heartbeat of all of us mammals which a whopping average of

Underage Tanning Law
Many teens today feel pressured to live up to society s standards. They believe that perfect hair,
flawless makeup, designer clothes, and bronze skin is required. This is where tanning beds come into
play. About 29.5 percent of teenagers use indoor tanning devices. (Health Day News). However, is the
warm, golden glow going to be achievable any more? State Representatives are considering new
restrictions, and changing existing laws, in regards to teen tanning. These new commands will ban
teens from tanning. Are these bills acceptable? Are they needed? The Senate and Assembly of New
York agreed to ban teens ages 16 years and younger from tanning beds (Precious). Lawmakers in New
Jersey are adding new rules to teen tanning; no one can tan under the age of 17. (N.J. Bans Minors
from Tanning Beds). Therefore, teen tanning bed use is a very controversial topic.
Have you ever felt the false sense of security that [you] may not feel under direct sunlight from a
tanning bed (Jeffrey)? Your body relaxes, you feel serene, and you get a golden glow. Some teens
strive for this feeling...and the tan. Tanning is the skin s response to injury, according to Arielle
Kauvar, M. D. The exposure of UV rays over time can cause skin cancer. Skin cancer is the growth of
abnormal growth of skin cells that forms in the tissue of the skin (Skin Cancer). Melanoma, the most
dangerous type of skin cancer, can come from UV rays. From 1998 2008, the number of cases of

The Social and Political Influences Leading up to the...
The Social and Political Influences Leading up to the First World War Romanticism began in the
closing decades of the Eighteenth Century. Influencing all spheres of life, pervading the populace of
Europe and the first half of the Nineteenth Century with idealistic, yet unreal sentiment. Contradicting
any romantic or idealistic belief were the uniform followers of rationalism and conservatism,
descendents of Puritanism that arose in the Church of England during the early 17th Century. The
German writer E. T. A. Hoffmann quoted in retrospect infinite longing was the essence of
romanticism, if this definition is accepted, it may be said that it created in Europe, an illicit hunt for a

The southern Germanic states were forced to accept Prussian hegemony, and Germany as it is known
today was formed. Within the space of thirty years, Germany had gone from being a cluster of
insignificant states to the most powerful state in Europe full of nationalistic sentiment, patriotic people
and militaristic Kaisers. It is easily forgotten that Italy, similar to Germany is only a recently created
state. Little over a century ago Italy was divided into five main groups, all subject to political
arrangements made by their foreign rulers. It took 21 years of resistance in the name of Irredentism, to
oust the puppet Autocratic government. Liberal views were enough, Liberal views and the invasion of
Austria(1848), and for a second time in 1859, the invasions were used in order to establish the nation,
and to expel Austrian emigrants from northern Italy, the theme of unifying ones nation through
military action has been exemplified again. In order to determine a nation on the global stage, an
expansionistic foreign policy has been held by both Germany and Italy, and the result has been
successful each time fusing the populace closer together by attaining a sense of achievement through
hardship and therefore a joint heritage and culture. Now

Analysis Of The Book The Great Commission
4MAT Book Review The Great Commission to Worship
Todd Bush
Liberty University
EVAN 525 B08: Contemporary Evangelism
May 29, 2016
Abstract
The question may be asked, what is the essence of being a Great Commission Worshipper? David
Wheeler and Vernon Whaley provides subtle element of what the significance is to being a Great
Commission Worshipper a man absolutely and similarly dedicated to evangelism and worship and an
otherworldly procedure that is formational, transformational, social, missional, and reproducible. The
postulation/thesis of the book is outlined in section two when the writers doubtlessly express
A Great Commission worshipper is a person who is so much in love with Jesus, so committed to
worship of Jesus, and so devoted to being obedient to every command of Jesus that he simply cannot
restrain himself from telling others about his incredible relationship with the Son of God. 1 In The
Great Commission to Worship: Biblical Principles for Worship Based Evangelism the writers join
evangelism and love as profound orders that the Christian devotee must follow up on out of
acquiescence for God. They state at an early stage that worship is not an event or something we do for
God. Rather it is an act of unbridled obedience even when rational explanations are hard to find. 2
Wheeler and Whaley give regular confusions of evangelism and worship, giving a brief reaction for
each. They then give a scriptural model of an evangelism venerate

  • 3. The Human Race Progress Without Communication How much would the human race progress without communication? The procedure of communication has been vital to any growth or development made by humans over the years. From humanity s beginnings as cavemen, with no formal communication system, to modern days, when people can seemingly communicate with anyone, anywhere, it has always been very important. Communication is a series of processes involving certain key elements and the relationship between them, allowing people to form and interpret messages, states Christopher L. Johnstone s text book The Art of the Speaker. According to The Art of the Speaker, the communication process starts with the sender, who generates the message. The Communication Model document defines the sender as the one who is responsible for creating or generating the communication. The Art of the Speaker claims that when something arises as a thing to be communicated, it then becomes the subject matter of the message. A message is a structured set of behaviors or actions. For example, the sender may want to communicate the message that he is in favor of gay marriage. The Johnstone text says that the message contains both conscious thoughts, or cognitive meanings, and often unconscious feelings, or emotional meanings. Next in the process, the sender must choose to communicate cognitive meanings through symbols, defined by the Communication Model document as behaviors performed more or less consciously and voluntarily to represent experiences ... • 4. Early Life Of The Minotaus Imagine having the body of a man, but the head and tail of a bull. Now imagine your mom is a human and your dad is a giant bull. This is what the Minotaur had to deal with his entire life. The Minotaur was the most unfortunate character in Greek mythology considering his appearance, early life, and adulthood. The Minotaur had a terrible body appearance. He had the head and tail of a bull, but the body of a man. He was very large and considered a monster and an unnatural being because of how he looked (Karas). Many people also probably ran away from the Minotaur even only after getting a glimpse of him, not even getting to know him more. This could ve been a contributing factor as to why he started eating people later in life. The Minotaur also had the worst early life of any character in mythology. For one, his dad was a great white bull, and his mom, Pasiphae, was a normal human (Garcia). Many people wonder how his parents were two different creatures. Minos, the husband of Pasiphae, once had two brothers, and they all wanted to become King of Crete after their father passed away. He bragged that he had the favor of the gods and could ask for anything. He prayed to Poseidon, and he listened to Minos. Poseidon sent him a majestic white bull and told him to sacrifice it. Having received the bull, Minos demonstrated his power to his brothers and became king, but he did not sacrifice the white bull. Poseidon became angry, and cursed Pasiphae to fall in love with the bull. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

As such, one can determine the truth about a character thus affecting their response to the character. It also influences the reader s response based on what the narrator knows or their objective. In Charlotte Perkins Gilman s The Yellow Wallpaper the point of view is in the first person. The narrator participates in the action of the story. In A Rose for Emily by William Faulkner, the writer uses the third person point of view and lets the reader know how the character feel. The Yellow Wallpaper can also be tied to this theory since it spins an exciting tale of how a wife of a doctor becomes guilt ridden with depressed after the birth of her child. As a result, her physician husband decides to place her under homecare to help cure her of her disease (3). However, this only serves to intensify her illness and put a damper on her marriage. The first person point of view in this story helps one to catch a vision of what a suffering woman must endure. The first narrative also influences the reader to be able to connect to the narrator in a humane way. Further, the first person standpoint in this story provides the reader access only to the woman s thoughts thus limiting the reader. However, the limited point of view in this story helps is crucial in letting the reader get into the shoes of the wife and experience the feeling of isolation throughout the story. The limitation of the viewpoint also involves narrating the story in the present, which prohibits the main character from the benefit of hindsight ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Ted changes once during the story, with the help of his sister, Mary. Before this change occurred, the family always made him upset by never letting him do the things that he wants to do. They constantly watched him and told him to be careful, not letting him run or play. Mary, seeing the injustice of this, decided to do something about it. One day, when Ted and Mary got back from swimming in the creek, Louise, their mother, told Ted he mustn t. The rest of her sentence left unsaid, but nonetheless clearly understood. He mustn t do all the dangerous things he does. While Ted left out of anger, Mary stayed her ground and argued for her brother, telling Louise she should stop reminding Ted of his illness and leave him alone to do as he pleased. Her argument took Louise by surprise so much that she decides, to Ted s great joy, to give the children their freedom. When he dies at the end of the story, Mary feels he had a happy life. Don, in Mary s mind, had the hardest life of all. The conflict between Don and his father John shows another way situations in life can have control over someone. Anderson describes Don as almost an exact copy of his father in everything from his personality to his looks. Anderson shows her readers using direct characterization a ... This can also be considered as a research study that will enhance knowledge in understanding a variety of complex situations while constructing a field study. In a controversial 5 to 4 ruling, The U.S. Supreme Court upheld the law on June 28, 2012. The ACA is thought by some as the United States health care rescue, and as its downfall by others. The aim of the ACA is to provide affordable health care to all Americans, but it still leaves some issues unaddressed that will impact the access to health care. Covino (n.d.), Though the intentions of the legislation are good, the Affordable Care Act does little to improve the actual health care delivery system (para.1, page 2). According to the American Medical Association, we are facing an increasing Physician shortage. As of 2010 we faced a shortfall of 13,700 physicians, the estimate is that number will increase to 62,900 by 2015, 91,500 by 2020, and 130,600 by 2025 (Krupa, n.d.), with primary care taking the largest impact. Health Care coverage will be of no benefit if there are no doctors to treat the patients. An example of this occurred in 2002 when Thailand s 30 Bhat Scheme added (CNN n.d.) 14 million people to the country s health care system, resulting in long waits and subpar service (Your health is covered, but who is going to treat you?) Several factors contribute to the physician shortage. Many physicians are reaching the age of retirement, the Association of American Medical Colleges estimates nearly 15 million physicians will be eligible for Medicare in the coming years (CNN n.d.). The increasing cost of malpractice insurance also deters many from pursuing a career in medicine, and is forcing some doctors to retire. Also contributing to the physician shortage is a lack of spots in residency programs. In 2011, more than 7,000 were left ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 15. Indentured Servants vs. Black Slaves The Stepping Stones of Labor in America Throughout time, in all places, there is an upper class and a lower class. During the 16th to 19th century in America people came from all over Europe. People from Europe found America as an escape from their life; a new start. Some could not afford to take a boat ride across the Atlantic with their whole family. Because of this, some people became indentured servants. Later on, the South revolutionized America by bringing in black slaves and getting rid of indentured servitude. Black slaves were permanently slaves and didn t have as much hope as indentured servants because they had no family and they knew that they were stuck living their life the way it was forever. Also, indentured servants often had learned some economically valuable skills, so when their contract was up, they were more prepared for the outside world, while black slaves were not usually and were not let out. Indentured servants were slaves and dehumanized during their time of their contract, but often had a better life because of what they learned from being a servant and their reward. While both slaves and servants typically did similar work, slaves were bought and put into work whereas indentured servants signed a contract and the owner didn t give up any money value until the end of contract. During this time the cost of a black slave was about 130,000 dollars. This was a lot higher because this is when there was no more indentured servitude and the South s economy relied on black slaves for cotton.
