Earthquake HAN
Divergent Divergent boundary is one kind of earthquake that happened when hot magma rise upward to the below crust, and the pressure built up right under the crust. When the pressure of hot magma is enough to break the crust apart, the crust are going separate by hot magma, when it happened, the ground shaken, earthquake made. Crust Shaking``````````
Convergent  Convergent Boundaries happen when oceanic plate subducted under another continental plate, it stuck sometimes, but when it stuck the plate is still moving, this movement could cause a large earthquake. Oceanic Plate Continental Plate Lift up Shaking
Transform Fault This type of earthquake happen when two different plate moves past each other in opposite direction. When they past each other they sometimes stuck, but the plates are still moving, so they crush on each other and this cause a big earthquake.
The Effects of Earthquakes The central location that earthquake starts is called the focus. The focus is often deep within the crust of earth. The point on the surface of earth exactly above the focus is called the epicentre of the earthquake. The shock wave that focus sent out are called seismic waves. The energy that the focus had made travels outward in all direction. The distance the energy travels depend on the amount of energy that is released from the focus.
Types of wave Primary Waves(P) Goes through liquids and solids Travels 8KM per second Moves materials as they travels through earth Causes you feel earthquake in the first movement Both Only goes through solids Makes rock moving Travels 4.5KM per second Causes more building damage Secondary Waves(S) Same focus Begin in the same time Can be felt on the surface
