Eschatology has significant implications on how I understand the ways in which God will finish
his redemptive work. Furthermore, eschatology sheds light on the Kingdom of God, which Christ
came to inaugurate. As a result of these convictions, I have chosen to write a paper discussing the
amillennial position. I will primarily be discussing this position in light of Revelation 20:1 6 and
will use other key passages to rightly interpret what I see in this text.
At this point in my studies I m leaning towards the amillennial view with an understanding that
Satan is bound through the death and resurrection of Christ, is currently prevented from ultimately
deceiving the nations, and cannot hinder the spread of the gospel. I believe that we currently live
in the church age and at the end of this present age, Satan will be let loose for a final battle against
the church of Jesus Christ. Christ will then return and judge all of his enemies and the promised
new creation will become reality where his people will bodily reign with him even as they are
currently seated with him spiritually. It is my goal now to unpack these convictions and explain
why I m leaning towards the amillennial position.
The Kingdom
Andrew Hoekema possibly best defines the Kingdom as, the reign of God dynamically active in
human history through Jesus Christ, the purpose of which is the redemption of God s people from
sin and from demonic powers, and the final

Torts Or Personal Injury Claims
Gavin Jakositz10/13/15
Types of Torts or Personal Injury Claims
There are numerous types of personal injury claims for which compensation may be paid to the
injured party:
Motor vehicle accidents
Product liability
Dog or animal attack
Premises liability
Toxic tort
Wrongful death
Medical malpractice
Intentional tort
Different elements that comprise these types of injuries need to be proved by the person bringing
the claim so that compensation may be paid. Each of the torts may include a number of causes of
action that a claimant may allege including:
Negligence
Breach of warranty
Strict liability in tort
Intentional tort
Although a tort or personal injury is litigated in the civil courts, you can bring a tort action in civil

There must be an injury caused by the breach of care. It can physical, financial or emotional.
There may be higher duties of care depending on the status of the liable party. A commercial truck
driver and physician have special duties of care as do business owners in slip and fall or premises
liability cases.
Medical Negligence
A medical professional has a particular duty to use reasonable care toward patients since a
physician has special training and knowledge that ordinary people do not possess. A doctor has a
duty to use the care expected of a reasonable physician with the same specialty acting in a similar
community under similar circumstances.
Typical medical malpractice actions include failure to diagnose, negligent treatment, failure to
obtain implied consent and negligence during or after surgery. A hospital or medical or nursing
facility may also be found liable for negligent hiring, maintaining equipment, keeping unsanitary or
unsafe facilities or for lacking required or standard protocol in delivery of

Time of Unrest in 1848 in the German States
The time of unrest that took place in The German states after 1848 was foreshadowed by widening
political, economic, and social division with in each state. These strong differing positions would
lead to the revolts of 1848 in Prussia, Austria, Hungary, and Prague and the German s lost
opportunity to build a united nation under a liberal parliament.
A strengthened public spirit , would fuel the revolutions and unrest that rocked the Germanic
States in 1848 caused by the idea of national unity (Doc 10). Some German people felt it would be
beneficial to create a unified German, which [would] render the ferment stronger then ever (Doc 2).
That unification would be the perfect path to a representative constitutional monarchy. It was only
by the unification of the German States that freedom [could] come forth, and the rule of law be
secured for our future public life (Doc 10). Other officials had very different views, they believed
that the bourgeoisie were being poisoned by the evil education of the time and were going to
cause the downfall of all German States (Doc 8). These conservatives called for the prices and
governments to crush these ideas and rebellions and call upon the support of the proletariat in order
to remain in control of their nations.
The economic distress of the lower class and the raise of the middle class due to industrialization
fueled the unrest of the time. The middle class got richer building and operating factories while the

Analysis Of The 1680 Pueblo Revolt By Andrew Knaut
By August 1680, the stage had been set. The movement s leaders had chose August 12 as the date
on which the revolt would take place (169). The 1680 Pueblo Revolt was the culmination of
decades of exploitation and mistreatment of the Pueblo peoples of New Mexico at the hands of
their Spanish overlords. The Cortes and Coronados set off on expeditions to New Mexicobecause of
the gold laden settlements always rumored to lie just beyond the horizon (23). Andrew Knaut
provides an in depth analysis of the Pueblo culture in his novel as well as the critical events and
political legislation that occurred in the time leading up to the revolt. Knaut s main purpose of the
novel is not to provide new information, but to reinterpret the revolt in a unique... Show more

First, Knaut is unable to fully overcome the limit of resources that he has. Even though Knaut is
able to describe the lifestyle of the Pueblos and tell their story, the audience still learns more about
the Spaniards than the Pueblo. Second, Knaut also does not expand on why the conspirators
decided to exclude certain Pueblos from their plot. Knaut leaves this unexplained and the audience
confused and curious. Lastly, Knaut devotes considerable attention to how Hispanic settlers
absorbed Pueblo traits, but says almost nothing about how Pueblos absorbed Hispanic traits. Knaut
again leaves the audience with unexplained content that makes the reader curious. Although his
novel had some negatives, Knaut deserves sort of a break because of the limitations of sources.
All in all, this novel was very well written, but had some errors due to

There are hordes of roller coasters getting designed and made all over the world, but this one is
different from a lot of them. Underwater is a theme that a lot of people enjoy gawking at. My
roller coaster is an underwater coaster. The technology involved in making all of the designs
was made by the best in the business. It hits spins, sharp turns, loops and enormous drops. It is
254 feet in the air and has a top speed of 53 miles per hour. It is 5,345 feet long (1629 meters) and
takes 68 seconds or 1 minute and 8 seconds. The cart has 4 rows and 5 seats in each row. As you
are going throughout the ride the cart will spin so that you can see all of our aspects on the ride.
Some amazing features underwater are that you will be zooming through a pirate ship, you will
observe some exotic fish, you will see sharks, the seats will turn, as you are traveling up the first
hill a captain will show up in a screen and explain to you all about what you are getting into
because underwater there will be images that look like you are fighting a pirate ship. Finally the
inside of the cart will be designed like a ship. So as you start the ride a glass cover will raise over

Occlusal Sealing Essay
Introduction: ‎
‎ Although the prevalence of dental caries has decreased worldwide, the incidence ‎of
dental caries on the occlusal surface of posterior teeth is still increasing (2). It ‎represents 90%
of the carious lesion occurring in the oral cavity (3). This may be related to ‎natural anatomy of

This means that the tooth brushing which is the gold standard of ‎proper oral hygiene measure

My Ideal Career Is A Lead Software Developer
My ideal career is to be a lead software developer. My responsibilities will be abundant as I will be
responsible for overseeing projects and making sure things get done correctly and on time.
While my job will be heavily based on developing software myself, another large portion will be
mentoring and working with my coworkers to ensure efficiency and transparency. I will also be
required to create reports to display progress on projects and system functions. My position will
require I make general improvements to ensure work is done properly. Currently I am a
freshman in college, but here are the steps I will take to convince you that I am the ideal candidate
as a lead software developer. A lead software developer must be a well experienced programmer. It
will be required that I have many years of prior experience successfully working in other lower
positions. By the time I apply I plan to have a few years of experience interning during college.
The time I spend will provide me valuable experience working in the field of computerscience. I
plan to build my portfolio of projects to show that I have gained experience. These projects will
outline my strengths and skills that I will develop. As an intern I will gain from the knowledge

The skin is composed of the epidermis and dermis. The epidermis, being superficial skin, while
the dermis is the tissue layer underneath that supports the epidermis. Collagen and elastic fibers
are contained in the dermis to give the skin strength and elasticity. Collagen fibers are very
strong and resist stretching, but can be easily bent or twisted. Elastic fibers permit stretching
and then recoil to their original length. The elastic fibers provide flexibility, and the collagen
fibers limit that flexibility to prevent damage to the tissue. Environmental factors or physical
changes can affect the skin s strength and elasticity. The distortion of the dermis that occurs
over the abdomen during pregnancy or after substantial weight gain can exceed the elastic limits
of the skin. The resulting damage to the dermis prevents recoiling to its original size after
delivery or weight loss. Most of the collagen and elastic fibers at any location are arranged in
parallel bundles oriented to resist the forces applied to the skin during normal movement. These
bundles in the skin result in patterns called cleavage lines (The Integumentary System, 2015).
When the patient pushed the bar down during the experiment to understand the patient s ability
to stretch, the cleavage lines on the patient s skin acted upon the movement to bent downwards.
Although, if the patient were to have had a physical change in the skin such as an injury, weight
gain, or weight loss it could affect the patient s ability to bend all the way to the ground. A cut
parallel to a cleavage line will usually remain closed and heal with little scaring. A cut at right
angles to the cleavage line will be pulled open severed elastic fibers recoil, resulting in greater
scaring. For these reasons, surgeons choose to make small incisions parallel to cleavage lines (The

Becoming A Scholarly Writer
Prior to entering class, I deemed myself a competent writer. However, I quickly discovered that my
writing involved mediocre writing precepts. In contrast to the principles of scholarly discourse, my
writing held the tenets of conversational writing and failed to meet academic standards.
Furthermore, much of my poor writingwas akin to a deep rooted habit that I found humbling to
admit and challenging to correct. Passive voice, unneeded words, long sentences, were a few of
the obstacles that impeded my journey to effective writing. However, using peer reviews and an
editing checklist I slowly began improving my skills as a competent writer. I also found that reading
concerning writing provided supplementary methods to improve my skills as a scholarly writer.
Implementing these innovative techniques, I slowly began to understand what scholarly writing
entailed. As I learned through giving... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The growth I received from writing peer reviews, receiving peer reviews, writing article
critiques, and completing an essay equipped me for future writing growth. Although I do not
perceive myself as an accomplished writer, I have taken the primary steps to becoming a
competent scholarly writer. Writing is challenging and will always remain difficult. However, I
first believed that writing involved talent. Today, I recognize that writing involves skill. As Silva
wrote, Productive writers don t have special gifts or special traits they just spend more time
writing and use this time more efficiently (Keyes, 2003). Changing your behavior won t
necessarily make writing fun, but it will make writing easier and less oppressive (Silva, 2014, p.

regain my purpose. However, only daily work in improving my writing skill will results in scholarly

Claude McKay published Harlem Shadows, which were a collection of his most acclaimed

Mein Kampf The Book Thief Essay
Mein Kampf, My Struggle . Written by Adolf Hitler during his reign over Nazi Germany, this
autobiography was the adrenaline invigorating the Germans into tormenting the Jews. There is
one thing, however, that Hitler did not realize. Words with the sole purpose of tearing people
apart can also rebelliously bring them together. In The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, words and
language protect their victims and destroy their allies. The most powerful form of language
throughout The Book Thief animates itself through the pages of books. The Gravedigger s
Handbook, one of the many books stolen by Liesel Meminger, is nothing more than a simple
guide for gravedigging. However, it is the tool she needs in order to learn how to read. Alongside

Comparing Dido And Aeneas
Don t you just hate it when your mom makes the queen of Carthage fall in love with you? Yeah,
so did Aeneas. Just kidding. He didn t actually hate it. Aeneas just has better things to do, like
discover the great city of Rome. Aeneas decision to leave his love, Dido, is completely justified due
to his great sense of pietas and their uncertain relationship status.
As a direct offspring of Venus, one of the more powerful gods, Aeneasis a man who values the gods
powers deeply. His sense of pietas is intense throughout the epic, especially in book four, when he
has to leave Dido in order to fulfill his duty to the gods. Dido s furor, or passion, is a great
contrast to Aeneas sense of duty. When Dido and Aeneas publically come out as couple, both of
their work falls to the wayside. However, when Jupiter discovers Aeneas isn t fulfilling his destiny,
he sends Mercury to reignite his pietas. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After Dido discovers his upcoming departure, Virgil describes Aeneas behavior as [he], loyal and
true, yearns to comfort her, soothe her grief, and say the words that will turn aside her sorrow

it pains him to leave Dido in such negative emotions. This is a painful decision for Aeneas; he has
to try to suppress the love in his heart (4.377). Virgil continues on and says although great love has
shaken his soul, he obeys the gods will and returns to the fleet (4.458 459). This emphasis on how
Aeneas must obey the gods further justifies his leaving of the city of Carthage and his

Pros And Cons Of Birth Control
traception
Contraception is used to prevent pregnancy. The use of condoms can prevent pregnancy and protect
against STDs. Other protective barriers, such as dental dams, are recommended for oral sex and
analingus. Some sexually transmitted infections, such as genital warts and genital herpes can be
spread through skin to skin contact, not just penetrative sex. For those in committed relationships
who seek only to prevent pregnancy, there are many forms of birth control, and a healthcare
provider can discuss options and detail what is the ideal form of birth control. There is no single
universal method that works for everyone.
According to Michael McGee, MEd, a certified sexual health educator and adjunct professor at
Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey, sexual health is intimately related to
reproduction. Birth control choices to prevent pregnancy and the steps couples need to take to have
a healthy pregnancy are all aspects of sexual health.
Some factors a qualified physician will take into consideration when discussing options are:
Patient s sexual activity
Previously used birth control methods
Existing medical conditions
Lifestyle and likelihood of taking a daily pill on schedule
Use of tobacco products
Existence of menstrual migraines
Menstrual flow
Personal and family history of blood clots
Existence or history of breast cancer

This can lead to an increased sense of self esteem, the motivation and confidence to participate in
new activities.
It is imperative that practitioners are able to observe and assess each child s development in order
to gain a full understanding of their development and how they can build upon this in order to cater
to the needs of the child and allow them to fulfill their potential. This is highlighted by Wheeler
(2009, p.63) in stating that Observations are fed into family worker and team planning so that
future activities can be based on an individual child s interests and patterns of behavior and thereby
enhance their learning .
The importance of practitioner observation is further underlined by Bruce (2010, p.37) in stating
that every observation is likely to have some implications for planning: first, with regard to the
individual child and, secondly, for the staff and setting perhaps changing a routine or introducing
something new.
In relation to diversity, the early years practitioner can attend to the diverse needs of each child and
their individual requirements in many different ways.
The practitioner could address this by building up a positive relationship (EYFS 2007) with
parents. The DFES 2.2 states that respecting diversity is imperative and that all families are

A Way Of Rewarding America s Tipping Culture
Teachers, police officers and doctors all help society be safe, healthy, and educated. They do all
of this and get paid for it. One of the things they have in common is that they don t have to work
for tips. Imagine a world where you tip your teacher after they showed you how to solve a math
problem. It would be ridiculous to tip your teacher for them doing their job. We wouldn t treat
professionals like this, so why do we treat waiters and waitresses like this? With our current way
of using tips as a way of rewarding the server is degrading because they are experts at serving
multiple people a day and they are paid low wages with an insignificant amount of tips for their
professionalism. America s tipping culture has been around for a long

The Squire s Tale Essay
The Squire s Tale
The Squire s tale ends two lines into its third section, and
following this abrupt termination is the wordes of the Frankeleyn to the
Squier. The Franklin praises the young Squire s attempt at a courtly
romance and says that he wishes his own son was more like the Squire. This
is followed by the wordes of the Hoost to the Frankeleyn. Many critics
believe that the words of the Franklin to the Squire are intended as an
interruption of the tale that threatens to go on far too long. However, I
believe the words of the Franklin to the Squire were not meant to be an
interruption at all. There are four main reasons why I believe the passage
was not meant to be an ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, interrupting someone in the middle of his speech would be
something a person with gentillesse would be hesitant to do. The arguments
that the Franklin s actions were rescuing the Squire from an awkward
predicament (Specht 154) in which his tale was threatening to go on far
too long point out that in such a scenario the Franklin s actions would be
a masterpiece of tact (Spearing, 7). I would argue with this theory for
two reasons. First of all, the Squire gives no indication he wishes to be
rescued. In his tale at the end of telling of Canace and the magic ring,
he proceeds to say he will tell how the other three gifts affected the
lives of other characters. Clearly the Squire could have cut his story
short then if he had been so inclined. Therefore I do not think it is fair
to claim the Franklin was rescuing the Squire. Secondly, if the Franklin
were indeed interrupting the Squire to end his story, he could have
apologized for interrupting. Obviously the Squire has not completed his
tale, he has just announced he has three more parts and is two lines into
the telling of the next section. For the Franklin to begin speaking at
this point he would clearly be interrupting the Squire. To preserve
gentillesse it would be necessary for him to apologize for the break in.

Pennsylvania Dutch Word Hex
The word hex can be used as either a verb or noun. The verb hex means to bewitch or to practice
witchcraft on . As a noun, the word can refer to a spell, a charm or a witch. Etymologically, the
word hex began as an American English concept in 1830. It originated with the Pennsylvania
Dutch, who immigrated to this country from Germany in the 18th century. The word is from
Pennsylvania German hexe, which means to practice witchcraft . Hexe comes from the German

defined a hex as a spell cast that intends either positive or negative outcome????? I don t know on
this one? . Obviously I had much learning to do of this term. While it s true that it could have
either a positive or negative outcome, one should strive for positive, always weighing possible
outcomes. I did not realize that it was a form of manipulative magick, nor had I ever heard of
that, but it makes sense. I had always seen hexes portrayed, especially by Hollywood, as
something evil or bad. To summarize, hexes are not by nature something evil. They have been
given a bad reputation by the uninformed. They are a form of manipulative magick that can be
used in a beneficial way, especially to prevent someone from causing harm to themselves or others.

reach an agreement.
Mediation
Mediation is the third party intervention within a negotiation in order to find way to resolve
problems. Beber (2010, p.3 4) defined that mediation is the non coercive intervention by a third
party in a dispute between two or more political entities for the stated purpose of effecting a

is right about not placing rigid limitations on interest groups as it has placed on individuals
because if those limitations are lifted from the individuals and they have same power as the
interest groups, they will be too many bills demanding their own benefit. In my opinion, the
collective influence of interest groups does override the ability to influence politics as some
citizens may fall into leader s false promises and act for their individual needs but the collective

both side wanted new western states to fall under their views. Missouri compromise of 1819 was

sovereignty which is the people voting for whether the new states become free or slave. This
backfires because Illinois was a free state and by their law it meant that Dred Scott was a free
man. However because this case was addressed in the supreme court, Chief Justice Roger Taney
have the power to decide the final verdict of this case and wanted abolitionist to understand that
slavery can never be abolished. Since Chief justice Roger Taney is a Democratic white slave owner
from the south his views on slavery might lean on the supporting side. Thus he needs evidences to

As a result, Malaysian will have more exposure to its product. The demand for its luxury
timepiece will increase as it is very appealing to the higher income group in Malaysia. There is a
higher chances of them buying it because it is the first solar functioned and GPS watch. The
increase of demand in Seiko s timepiece will diminish the sales of existing watch retailers. On the
other hand, the increased demand for Seiko watches may not be a threat to the local watch
industry owing to the fact that Astron watches cost an arm and a leg. Astron watches are priced
between USD 1,825 to USD 3,300, which will be RM 7300 to RM 13,250 after converting into

signifies an alternative in either making a profit or losing it.

The Death Of A Shoemaker And The Tea Party By Alfred F....
The American Revolution, today, is seen as a memorable event in history. It was a war against
Britain for the independence of the thirteen colonies that began in 1775. Before the American
Revolution began, there was a lot of conflict between the colonists and British authorities. The
British raised revenue by establishing Acts such as the Stamp Act of 1766. The colonists were
against it and tried revolting against Britain, leading to the Boston Massacre in 1770 of British
soldiers shoot colonists and killing a few men. The colonists also retaliated against the taxations by
dressing up as Indians and throwing tea into the ocean. Parliament began establishing acts known as
the intolerable acts, which led to the revolution. In The Shoemaker and the Tea Party by Alfred F.
Young, the author introduces and describes the life of a shoemaker, George Robert Twelves
Hewes, and the events he was a part of leading up to and after the American Revolution. He shows
the different meanings of the Revolution to people according to their perspective and view on
society. The Excerpt from Accounts of George Robert Twelves Hewes as Told to James Hawkes
by James Hawkes is a secondary source of what Hewes has told Hawkes about his memories of the
Boston Massacre. Michael D. Hattem, however, gives a more contemporary view on the American
Revolution in his article, The Historiography of the American Revolution. Though the course of

Euthyphro, By Plato
The book Euthyphro by Plato demonstrates one of the many complex ideas on ethics by the Greek
philosopher, using his teacher Socrates and the theologian Euthyphro. The two intellectuals meet at
the Porch of the King Archon, where both are involved in legal suits. The discussion between the
two begins with Socratesinforming Euthyphro of an accusation by another individual, Meletus,
calling the philosopher a poet or maker of gods (pp. 2). After introducing the idea of piety, or
holiness, Euthyphro reveals to Socrates that he is prosecuting his own father for murder. This
confuses Socrates, due to the fact that Euthyphro is prosecuting his father over a murderous slave,
and perceives it as impious. The philosopher praises Euthyphro as a great... Show more content on

Throughout the paper Socrates provides sound arguments to the definitions given by Euthyphro,
who believes that he is an expert on the matter, yet ends up leaving without an answer. The
dialogue ends without an explicit answer to the question that has been the basis of the entire
conversation; this provokes the reader to determine whether there is an actual definition as to
what is pious. The concept of pleasing the gods and universal rights/wrongs are explicit examples
of supernaturalism and moral realism. What Socrates aims to teach his colleague is that there is
no explicit answer to the question being asked. If there is an answer, it would be an amalgamation
of the aforementioned theories. With a large majority of the world being religious, the subject
matter of the dialogue is still relevant today. While reading this, I was able to agree with both
Socrates and Euthyphro at different times in the dialogue. Euthyphro s explanations of holiness are

System Development Life Cycle Essay
Computer system plays an important role in solving human problem in their daily life. There are
standard steps in order to develop information system called System Development Life Cycle
(SDLC). SDLC is the framework available to build a complete system. There are five phases in
SDLC which are planning, analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance (refer to Figure 1 in
Appendix 1). The first phase in SDLC is planning. In this phase, the potential system development
project is identified. Project manager summarizes all strength and weakness that possible to occur
using their professional skills (Hoffer, George, Valacich, 2008). Next, business plan is defined and
documented by project manager in a formal format. According to Burch... Show more content on

The interview session has been done by include an open ended and closed ended question which
are related to the implemented project. Next, sampling technique is executed by system analyst
who does evaluation to the current system or prototype. These processes give feedback in
evaluation form that filled after tested the system. Lastly, observation is performed by using
questionnaire form. According to Burch (1992), the questionnaire is analyzed and transform into
structured form that easy to understand. After all information has been collected, structuring of
system requirement takes place. It focused on development process modeling which perform
graphically representing the process, or actions, that capture, manipulate, store, and distribute
data between a system and environment (Hoffer, George, Valacich, 2012, p. 182). In this step,
Data flow diagram (DFD) is structured by system analyst using special tools and techniques to
create a decision table. According to Hoffer, George and Valacich (2012), decision table is a
diagram of process logic where the logic is reasonably complicated (p. 200). This table is useful to
help system analyst to make a decision toward the project. Then all information s gained from this
phase are documented in System Analysis Report (SAR) that acts as a guideline or reference to the
future system development project (Burch, 1992). The next phase in SDLC is design. According to

The Characteristics Of Two Trees Species
Review of the characteristics of two tree species
David Bell 198120675
HORT90043 Tree Identification and Selection
WORD COUNT = 1200 (excluding tables and appendices)
Introduction
These two beautiful tree species are both tall street and park trees found in the south eastern suburbs
of Melbourne. One is a very commonly planted native tree which seems to have fallen out of favour
with local Councils in this area (see Appendix A) and the other is a distinctive yet rarely planted
exotic that seems to have done well but is only planted sporadically as an ornamental shade tree.
Why? What conditions and attitudes have changed from when these originally planted? What
characteristics and potentials do they have that makes them suited to planting here and in the
future? What downsides do these trees have?

Blackberry Research Paper
Blackberry Leaf Tea
By Pandora Wolf
Native to the Northern temperate areas of the globe, blackberry has been honored as the official
fruit of the state of Alabama. Blackberry belongs to the Rubus genus in the Rosaceae family
which also includes raspberry and dewberry. Ancient cultures perceived blackberry plant as a weed
or a wild plant yet its medicinal history spans back to over 2000 years. History reveals the
traditional usage of blackberry fruit, leaf, bark and roots by the Romans and Greeks for healing
numerous health conditions ranging from a mild infection to venomous bites. The fruit is effective
against the development of cancer including lung cancer, colon cancer, and esophageal cancer. The
micronutrients present in blackberries exert chemopreventive effect and prevent the proliferation of
malignant cells.
Blackberries are a source of both insoluble and soluble fiber essential for the optimum functioning
of the digestive system. This aids in regular bowel movements, freedom from constipation, and
better digestive health. They have an abundance of antioxidants for heart health, and lots of
vitamins which act as immunity boosters. Blackberries also have magnesium and calcium for bone
health, and are a source of natural folate for pregnant women. ... Show more content on

Steve Jobs
Born 1955 Los Altos CA; Evangelic bad boy who, with Steve Wozniak, co founded

Subsequently started the NeXT Corporation to provide an educational system at a reasonable price,
but found that software was a better seller than hardware.
Steven Paul, was an orphan adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs of Mountain View,
California in February 1955. Jobs was not happy at school in Mountain View so the family moved
to Los Altos, California, where Steven attended Homestead High
School. His electronics teacher at Homestead High, Hohn McCollum, recalled he was something

Jobs encouraged independent programmers to invent applications for Apple II. The result was a
library of some 16,000 software programs.
Quickly setting the standard in personal computers, the Apple II had earnings of
$139,000,000 within three years, a growth of 700 percent. Impressed with that growth, and a trend
indicating an additional worth of 35 to 40 percent, the cautious underwriting firm of Hambrecht
Quist in cooperation with Wall
Street s prestigious Morgan Stanley, Inc., took Apple public in 1980. The underwriters price of
$22 per share went up to $29 the first day of trading, bringing the market value of Apple to $1.2
billion. In 1982 Apple had sales of
$583,000,000 up 74 percent from 1981. Its net earnings were $1.06 a share, up 55 percent, and as
of December 1982, the company s stock was selling for approximately $30 a share.
Over the past seven years of Apple s creation, Jobs had created a strong productive company with
a growth curve like a straight line North with no serious competitors. From 1978 to 1983, its
compound growth rate was over 150% a year. Then IBM muscled into the personal computer
business. Two years after introducing its PC, IBM passed Apple in dollar sales of the machines.
IBM s dominance had made its operating system an industry standard which was not compatible
with Apple s products. Jobs knew in order to compete with IBM, he would have to make the Apple

Fixed-Price-Incentive Feed Contract
The fixed price incentive fee contract has ceiling price, which is expected to cover all potential
risk. After the allocated budget for the project is solidified then the profit sharing formula is put
into place. This profit sharing formula will help contractors to focus on controlling cost and
meeting project objectives in reasonable time line.
An example of fixed price incentive fee contract would be building a private Catholic school with
required performance requirements. The contractors will have incentives of completing the project
within the allocated budget and reaching performance goals. In this example, the fixed price
incentive fee contract will have a $5,000.00 incentive if contractors finished within projects
objective specifications. Now the contractors would focus on completing the quality measures of
the school below the ceiling price.

The cost plus incentive fee contract is completely different from the two previous contracts. This
contract is starts with a stated fee but offers the flexibility of requesting for additional charges for
incurred cost during the project. Which is very beneficial to the contractor because it will offer the
contractor the option to increase contracted amount in circumstance of unknown risk.
Now the unforeseen issues associated using this type of contract could be very risky for the
buyer. For example, a moving company agrees on stated price to relocate a local bakery into
another location. During the process of relocation the moving company discovers items mounted
on the wall; requiring additional tools and labor. Using this type of contract the moving company
would charge additional cost to complete this moving project. Now the seller is at a major
disadvantage due to the unknowns. The seller s disadvantage proves the last resource to be

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Dyes
1)Low water consumption and dyeing time:
With increasing concern of the energy consumption environmental issues, machines should have
made with even lower M:L ratios (lower water requirements for processing and a reduction in the
amount of effluent generated) with water recovery options and energy (heat) reuse systems. It
was expected that machines like Beam Jigger which is a combination of autoclave and jigger
machine, will reduce the dyeing time about 50%, with a similar reduction in water and energy
consumption. Electronic equipment used for automation and controlling in dyeing machines.
Brazzoli of Italy developed beam jigger machine. This open width batch dyeing machine was a
combination of autoclave and jigger. It decreases the dyeing time about 40 50% with water

Dating A Nigerian Female In Nigeria
Nigerian females are the same as every other female in the planet, with those very same yearning
as well as desire to be liked and cared for, they ve those very same loose grip on situations daily
happenstance, not being serious about life and wishing a handsome male would pop out of the sky
as well as swoop them off the feet of theirs into insurmountable riches, and also with of course the
accompanying lived happily ever after.
Allow me to share facts about Nigerian females, a small idea on just what it takes to marry a female
from Nigeria. Are you eying that blackish female working in the exact same office along with
you, are you thinking of dating and actually getting married to a rather Nigerian babe? Do you
understand what it takes? Have you will said a word to her?
Dating a Nigerian female is as easy as dating every other female in the planet, it entails the same
tactic and careful methods, you require the exact same self assured strategy which is actually
essential to picking females.
Individuals in Nigeria think which the male is actually the mind of the household and we come
across the female as being a helper to the male, every Nigerian female is seeking a responsible
male, a male that s in a position to make choices in dire circumstances. Girls in Nigeria would like
to date and marry a difficult male, not a wimp that believes he might purchase females with cash.
Well, they might help you spend the money of yours and help you ditched.

The Ontological Argument By Anselm
I will begin my paper by discussing the two major versions of the ontological argument by
Anselm presented in the proslogion. The first being Possible and actual existence , and the
second being Contingent or Necessary . One should start off with the first summarized in the
standard form as follows: #1 It is a conceptual truth that God is a being than which none greater
can be imagined. #2 God exists as an idea in the mind. #3 A being that exists as an idea in the
mind and in reality is, other things being equal, greater than a being that exists only as an idea in
the mind. #4 Thus, if God exists only as an idea in the mind, then we can imagine something that is
greater than God. #5 But we cannot imagine something that is greater than... Show more content on

[Ia] Unfortunately to properly render a complete discussion of the ontological argument One must
begin by defining a few keywords. Definitions for P2 are as follows. first, conceptual truth:
something that can be understood or perceived by the use of reason or imagination. Second, a
being: one s basic nature, or the qualities thereof; essence or personality[3]. Third, greater: of
ability, quality, or eminence considerably above the normal or average [4]. Forth, imagined: form
a mental image or concept of [4]. Fifth, Idea: a thought or suggestion as to a possible course of
action [4]. Sixth, mind: the element of a person that enables them to be aware of the world and
their experiences, to think, and to feel; the faculty of consciousness and thought [4]. Definitions for
P3 are as follows. Seventh, actual: existing in fact; typically as contrasted with what was intended,
expected, or believed [4]. Eighth, existence: the fact or state of living or having objective reality.
Ninth, contingent: occurring or existing only if certain other circumstances are the case; dependent
on [4]. Tenth, necessary: present; needed; essential [4]. Due to the nature of definitions, I will not
give an argument for the lack of implied meanings.
[IIa] For P2 axioms #1 and #3 appears that using a loose form of relativism the argument holds.
For axiom #2 its entirety is an assumption that is to be disproved. Axioms #4 6 are logical
deductions from Axioms #1 through #3. For P3

Auction data also supports the claims that Madame GrГЁs was most successful later in her
career. Her most expensive dress sold was from when she was 57 years old and sold for $9,020.
The second most expensive was from when she was 62 and sold for $8,450. The auction data
also shows that of the 31 dresses observed, only 4 items came from before the age of 47. This is
consistent with the fact that experimental designers produce their best work later in their careers.
Madame GrГЁs has inspired many designers today. One of her most prominent followers is Doo

College Athletes Should Not Be Exempt from Regular Class...
Many college athletes miss classes because of practice, competition and from exhaustion.
For those reasons, supporters argue for exemption of athletes from class attendance policies.
Others argue that college athletes are given scholarships to attend college to play sports. On the
contrary, the focus of colleges is educating students. The question is, should colleges athletes be
exempt from the class attendance requirements? The answer is no and here is why. First, the
education of athletes takes priority over recreational activities. Second, it is unfair for athletes to
receive preferential treatment. Third, exempting athletes from the policies does not allow them to

strategies will emerge to help them succeed not only in between the lines of the playing field or

element that produces academic achievers, tomorrow s leaders and balance adults. Given these
points, the student athletes must recognize the importance class attendance.
For the longest time it has been known that student athletes often miss classes. Moreover, athlete
miss classes to attend practice, take part in competition and from exhaustion. Also, some athletes
are going to leave college early and enter professional sport. Consequently, they skip classes and
slide through college. Of course, colleges with attendance policies requires students to attend
classes a certain amount of time and so should the athletes. Whenever athletes miss classes their
academic performance is usually affected. As a matter of fact, it is difficult for them to keep up the
grades required for them to keep the scholarship reward and stay on the team. By the same token,

Freud s Psychoanalytic Theory Analyzes Modern Day Texts
From the time of the Victorian Era, theorists have analyzed the mind and how it works. Many
consider Sigmund Freud the father of psychology. According to Freudian theory, humans are
controlled by three personalities throughout life; the id, ego, and super ego. However, we are not
born with all three. Instead, we are born with our id ( Structural Model ). At the age of three, the
second part of the unconscious mind, the ego, is developed. Later, when the child is five, or
ending his or her phallic stage of development, the super ego structure is developed ( Structural
Development ). Using psychoanalytic theory, we are able to analyze many modern day texts.

Although we only have one structure of personality as babies, by the time we are three, another
structure starts to take effect. Although there are many characters in B: DKR, the graphic novel
solely focuses on Bruce Wayne as Batman. However, there are a multitude of examples of the id
in control. For one, Wayne is continuously bothered by his id which wants him to return to
fighting crime as Batman. In the beginning of the novel, Wayne s id taunts him, You are nothing,
a hollow shell, a rusty trap that cannot hold me ( B: DKR , 25). His id goes on to say, You
cannot stop me, but still you try, still you run ( B: DKR , 25). This shows that his id is clearly in
control and Wayne s ego has an insignificant amount of authority. Secondly, while fighting crime
on his first night, Wayne is not able to keep up with the younger criminals as he could have when
he was younger however; his id pushes him to continue. Wayne thinks, This should be agony, but
I am a man of thirty, twenty again ( B: DKR , 34). This reiterates the point that his impulse is
strictly controlled by his id. Lastly, when Wayne loses his fight to the Mutant gang s leader, he
does not give up the war. Instead, his animalistic character wants to kill the gang s leader and so he
returns once again to settle his inner dispute. In Batman s final encounter with the Mutant gang s
leader, Batman thinks, He s fast, faster than I am. And stronger ( B:

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Eschatology has significant implications on how I understand the ways in which God will finish his redemptive work. Furthermore, eschatology sheds light on the Kingdom of God, which Christ came to inaugurate. As a result of these convictions, I have chosen to write a paper discussing the amillennial position. I will primarily be discussing this position in light of Revelation 20:1 6 and will use other key passages to rightly interpret what I see in this text. At this point in my studies I m leaning towards the amillennial view with an understanding that Satan is bound through the death and resurrection of Christ, is currently prevented from ultimately deceiving the nations, and cannot hinder the spread of the gospel. I believe that we currently live in the church age and at the end of this present age, Satan will be let loose for a final battle against the church of Jesus Christ. Christ will then return and judge all of his enemies and the promised new creation will become reality where his people will bodily reign with him even as they are currently seated with him spiritually. It is my goal now to unpack these convictions and explain why I m leaning towards the amillennial position. The Kingdom

Time of Unrest in 1848 in the German States The time of unrest that took place in The German states after 1848 was foreshadowed by widening political, economic, and social division with in each state. These strong differing positions would lead to the revolts of 1848 in Prussia, Austria, Hungary, and Prague and the German s lost opportunity to build a united nation under a liberal parliament. A strengthened public spirit , would fuel the revolutions and unrest that rocked the Germanic States in 1848 caused by the idea of national unity (Doc 10). Some German people felt it would be beneficial to create a unified German, which [would] render the ferment stronger then ever (Doc 2). That unification would be the perfect path to a representative constitutional monarchy. It was only by the unification of the German States that freedom [could] come forth, and the rule of law be secured for our future public life (Doc 10). Other officials had very different views, they believed that the bourgeoisie were being poisoned by the evil education of the time and were going to cause the downfall of all German States (Doc 8). These conservatives called for the prices and governments to crush these ideas and rebellions and call upon the support of the proletariat in order to remain in control of their nations. The economic distress of the lower class and the raise of the middle class due to industrialization fueled the unrest of the time. The skin is composed of the epidermis and dermis. The epidermis, being superficial skin, while the dermis is the tissue layer underneath that supports the epidermis. Collagen and elastic fibers are contained in the dermis to give the skin strength and elasticity. Collagen fibers are very strong and resist stretching, but can be easily bent or twisted. Elastic fibers permit stretching and then recoil to their original length. The elastic fibers provide flexibility, and the collagen fibers limit that flexibility to prevent damage to the tissue. Environmental factors or physical changes can affect the skin s strength and elasticity. The distortion of the dermis that occurs over the abdomen during pregnancy or after substantial weight gain can exceed the elastic limits of the skin. The resulting damage to the dermis prevents recoiling to its original size after delivery or weight loss. Most of the collagen and elastic fibers at any location are arranged in parallel bundles oriented to resist the forces applied to the skin during normal movement. These bundles in the skin result in patterns called cleavage lines (The Integumentary System, 2015). When the patient pushed the bar down during the experiment to understand the patient s ability to stretch, the cleavage lines on the patient s skin acted upon the movement to bent downwards. Although, if the patient were to have had a physical change in the skin such as an injury, weight gain, or weight loss it could affect the patient s ability to bend all the way to the ground. A cut parallel to a cleavage line will usually remain closed and heal with little scaring. A cut at right angles to the cleavage line will be pulled open severed elastic fibers recoil, resulting in greater scaring. For these reasons, surgeons choose to make small incisions parallel to cleavage lines (The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The importance of practitioner observation is further underlined by Bruce (2010, p.37) in stating that every observation is likely to have some implications for planning: first, with regard to the individual child and, secondly, for the staff and setting perhaps changing a routine or introducing something new. In relation to diversity, the early years practitioner can attend to the diverse needs of each child and their individual requirements in many different ways. All of the percentages listed below are from the most recent National Retail Security Survey and they represent the different percentages of the loss prevention budget (Hollinger et al., 2015: 8). This survey estimates that from the retail companies surveyed the mean percentage of the LP budget spent on payroll expenses for the field and corporate members of the LP department is 0.22%, while their other non capital expenses excluding payroll, were, on average, 0.13% of the LP budget (Hollinger et al., 2015: 8). Last year, the retail companies in this study spent on average 0.14% on capital expenses, such as EAS pedestals and CCTVs. Overall, retailers surveyed in 2014 reported an average shrink of 1.38%, however, three out of ten (30.3%) reported a higher average shrink for 2014 (Hollinger et al., 2015: 7). • 39. The Death Of A Shoemaker And The Tea Party By Alfred F.... The American Revolution, today, is seen as a memorable event in history. It was a war against Britain for the independence of the thirteen colonies that began in 1775. Before the American Revolution began, there was a lot of conflict between the colonists and British authorities. The British raised revenue by establishing Acts such as the Stamp Act of 1766. The colonists were against it and tried revolting against Britain, leading to the Boston Massacre in 1770 of British soldiers shoot colonists and killing a few men. The colonists also retaliated against the taxations by dressing up as Indians and throwing tea into the ocean. Parliament began establishing acts known as the intolerable acts, which led to the revolution. In The Shoemaker and the Tea Party by Alfred F. Young, the author introduces and describes the life of a shoemaker, George Robert Twelves Hewes, and the events he was a part of leading up to and after the American Revolution. He shows the different meanings of the Revolution to people according to their perspective and view on society. The two intellectuals meet at the Porch of the King Archon, where both are involved in legal suits. The discussion between the two begins with Socratesinforming Euthyphro of an accusation by another individual, Meletus, calling the philosopher a poet or maker of gods (pp. 2). After introducing the idea of piety, or holiness, Euthyphro reveals to Socrates that he is prosecuting his own father for murder. This confuses Socrates, due to the fact that Euthyphro is prosecuting his father over a murderous slave, and perceives it as impious. The philosopher praises Euthyphro as a great... Throughout the paper Socrates provides sound arguments to the definitions given by Euthyphro, who believes that he is an expert on the matter, yet ends up leaving without an answer. The dialogue ends without an explicit answer to the question that has been the basis of the entire conversation; this provokes the reader to determine whether there is an actual definition as to what is pious. The concept of pleasing the gods and universal rights/wrongs are explicit examples of supernaturalism and moral realism. What Socrates aims to teach his colleague is that there is no explicit answer to the question being asked. If there is an answer, it would be an amalgamation of the aforementioned theories. With a large majority of the world being religious, the subject matter of the dialogue is still relevant today. While reading this, I was able to agree with both Socrates and Euthyphro at different times in the dialogue. Euthyphro s explanations of holiness are what the majority of the public would say today, however Socrates highlights that piety is something that cannot be explicitly defined. While some things are unanimously agreed upon as holy deeds, there are some conflicts as to what can be considered ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

After the allocated budget for the project is solidified then the profit sharing formula is put into place. This profit sharing formula will help contractors to focus on controlling cost and meeting project objectives in reasonable time line. An example of fixed price incentive fee contract would be building a private Catholic school with required performance requirements. The first being Possible and actual existence , and the second being Contingent or Necessary . One should start off with the first summarized in the standard form as follows: #1 It is a conceptual truth that God is a being than which none greater can be imagined. #2 God exists as an idea in the mind. #3 A being that exists as an idea in the mind and in reality is, other things being equal, greater than a being that exists only as an idea in the mind. #4 Thus, if God exists only as an idea in the mind, then we can imagine something that is greater than God. #5 But we cannot imagine something that is greater than... Definitions for P2 are as follows. first, conceptual truth: something that can be understood or perceived by the use of reason or imagination. Second, a being: one s basic nature, or the qualities thereof; essence or personality[3]. Third, greater: of ability, quality, or eminence considerably above the normal or average [4]. Forth, imagined: form a mental image or concept of [4]. Fifth, Idea: a thought or suggestion as to a possible course of action [4]. Sixth, mind: the element of a person that enables them to be aware of the world and their experiences, to think, and to feel; the faculty of consciousness and thought [4]. Definitions for P3 are as follows. Seventh, actual: existing in fact; typically as contrasted with what was intended, expected, or believed [4]. Eighth, existence: the fact or state of living or having objective reality. Ninth, contingent: occurring or existing only if certain other circumstances are the case; dependent on [4]. Tenth, necessary: present; needed; essential [4]. Due to the nature of definitions, I will not give an argument for the lack of implied meanings. [IIa] For P2 axioms #1 and #3 appears that using a loose form of relativism the argument holds. For axiom #2 its entirety is an assumption that is to be disproved.
