Short description: The project Holidays in Our Countries is about the most important
holidays in our countries. The teachers and the pupils will try to
prove to the school partners that they belong to Europe with their
customs and traditions. The work in this project will give them the
opportunity to see the similarities and the differences between
their countries, to share their information and to connect a beautiful
friendship..
Goals: The main goal of the project is to determine our pupils learning
more, to better understand the role of English as a language of
communication in e-Twinning projects, to improve their ICT skills, to
show their preoccupation for a nicer future. In order to realize this
project we have to follow all the objectives of the project and to use
the appropriate methods.
ICT tools: We will use more tools and among them we can mention: Movie
Maker, Google Docs, You Tube Video hosting and sharing tool, Slide
share, Skype, PowerPoint Presentation, Blogger gg Blogging tool,
Wikispaces, TeacherTube Video, Word documents, Paint program,
Jigsaw planet program, etc. In this way we can improve our skills and
to learn how to use new tools like our partners.
Pedagogical basis: The objectives of this project and the ICT tools used by us will
contribute certainly to improve our pupils’ skills, to know more things
about Europe and about the life in the European schools, to increase
their wish to involve in extra-school activities and e-Twinning
projects, to be more stimulated in the learning process, to see how
wonderful is to have friends from other countries.
Both in groups of pupils and teachers and mixed groups we will work
with the intention of proving that we are a constructive team. We
will use the methods planned and we evaluate them each week.
Communication by e-mails and Messenger will help us in our work.
