ETYMOLOGY
 Dyscalculia Comes from Greek and Latin
 “Dys” means “badly”.
 “Calculia”- from the Latin word
“Calculare” , means “to count”.
 So that Dyscalculia means:
“ Counting badly ”.
DEFINITION
The department for education
defined it as:
“ A condition that affects the ability
to acquire arithmetic skills ” .
