Textile Dyeing : Dyeing is a coloration process of textile
which is invariable carried out in an aqueous medium. In the
other hand, dyeing can be define as a process by which a
yarn, fabric, garments and any other materials that come to
contact of dye by presence of auxiliaries that create the
condition of dyeing environment .
condition of dyeing environment .
Dyeing machine: The machine which is used to dyeing or
coloring of materials like yarn, fabric, garments or any other
materials is called dyeing machine. Dyeing machines come
in all shapes and sizes to accommodate the various forms
and quantities of textile materials.
 Yarn Dyeing Machine
 Knit Dyeing Machine
 Woven Dyeing Machine
Vertical Yarn Dyeing Machine Horizontal Yarn Dyeing Machine
Function & Feature:
 This types of machine consists of a cylindrical carrier, having
perforations over its surface, over which perforated spindles can be placed,
radiating from the surface.
 The top of the carrier is provided with a hook, by which an overhead
crane can lower into or raise from an outer cylindrical dye vessel.
The top of the carrier is provided with a hook, by which an overhead

 In case of this types of machine, carrier is filled with package and is
placed in the dye vessel by robotics system.
 This type of machine is suitable for scouring, bleaching, dyeing and
washing.
 According to objective chemicals and auxiliaries are pumped into the
dye vessel by centrifugal pump.
 Then due to circulation of dye liquor in the dye vessel pretreatment or
dyeing is performed.
Jet Dyeing Machine Winch Dyeing Machine
Jet Dyeing Machine:
A machine used for dyeing of fabric in rope
form Mainly used for dyeing of polyester
using disperse dye.
form Mainly used for dyeing of polyester
using disperse dye.
It is similar to winch dyeing and fabric is
processed in continuous loop.
The technique is especially useful for
delicate polyester fabrics but depending on
the machine almost any weight, structure,
or fabric type can be used.
Winch Dyeing Machine:
All pre-dyeing treatments such as scouring, bleaching,
washing-off and softening process. Mostly woolen
fabrics are dyed by using Winch Dyeing machine.
fabrics are dyed by using Winch Dyeing machine.
One of the major differences a winch has with a jigger
is lower amount of tension working on fabrics during
processing.
Due to much lower lengthwise tension imposed on the
fabric, winches are better suited for processing of
delicate fabrics like knits & woolens.
Jigger Dyeing Machine
Jigger Dyeing Machine:
In this type of dyeing machine, the fabric is dyed
mainly with two rollers. One roller let off the fabric
and passes through the dye liquor, and at last, a take-
up roller wounds the fabric.
and passes through the dye liquor, and at last, a take-
up roller wounds the fabric.
The fabric is dyed in open width form and fabric
remains dimensionally stable. Need low liquor ratio
and Loss of heat and liquor is less.
Mainly used for woven fabrics such as taffeta, poplin,
satins, and plain woven fabrics.
