DRRA is a customizable coarse-grain reconfigurable fabric for streaming signal processing applications. It consists of a computational fabric, memory fabric, and interface. DRRA can be customized and programmed to implement different accelerators and DSP sub-systems on a system-on-chip. It offers high performance with low power consumption close to an ASIC due to its domain-specific design and fine-grained power management features. An industrial study showed the same DRRA instance implemented different wireless standards with better power and area efficiency than an ASIC or other reconfigurable solutions.
