At first I changed the brightness up to put more light onto my models face. I put the
contrast down also to balance out the light and dark areas.
I lowered the intensity of the saturation on the photo, helping the lighting on the
face to be a bit more bright and to help tone her skin.
I used the healing brush to cover the spots that was on my models face, to make her
face more clear and avoid the spots that would ruin the image. I used the healing
brush on mostly the nose, cheeks and above the mouth.
Then I changed the filter to black and white, to follow the conventions of gangster
films that will use black and white filter. As you can see by now only changing the
filter, you can see the light reflection in front of the face.
Here I made the background more dark as it was too bright, I wanted the setting of
the image to be darker to make her seem like she was in a isolated room that would
show only the light coming from the left side.
Here is when I put the the film title
in, adding the shadow effect to the
Japanese font style. Also adding in
the actor name in. I decided to use
red and black colored font, the
typical color used for the gangster
film.
Here is my potential and final film poster,
here I changed the position of the film
titles, date and the actors name around. I
also added in the production company, with
the social media on the right hand side
along with the official website.
