To adapt the film, the opening takes place in a classroom to relate to teenage viewers and show how school can be hell for those with depression.  All of these films are based on or featured around
teenage depression. This had a profound effect on
the way we chose setting and costumes.

4. How we used this to adapt
our film
 To adapt our film we decided to place our opening in
a classroom this relates to the teenagers who will be
seeing the film and also shows how a place of
learning can be changed into a living hell for those
who suffer with depression.
 Also using a non-school uniform theme helped us to
single out the girl in class. Making her seem even
more depressed.
