1. Ryan Baxter is a hero to some people, he speaks his mind, and puts his thoughts into his music and
releases it giving everyone an insight into his mind, but also making the music crazily catchy with
rhythm, tone and the truth.
Ryan Baxter, the baby-faced UK Hip Hop legend has just celebrated his 24th birthday. The party was
electric! 30 security officers were on standby as R-Bax and his friends necked over a 100 bottles of
lager and 25 bottles of wine. True to his personality, R-Bax was seen sneaking a few groupies back
into his apartment after thanking his aunt & uncle for arranging the whole event. But, where were
his parents?
Kraze journalist, Jade Foreman, spoke to a very hung-over Ryan the next morning and explored his
troubled past and how his mother and father abandoned him at the age of 10...
So, Ryan, tell us about your childhood?
‘Up to the age of being 10 my childhood
was fine, I had two loving parents who had my tea cooked for me as I got in from school, took me
out to play football, or go out with my friends. You know the usual childhood every child has. But
then when they left that’s when it all changed.’
When did you first realise they were gone?
‘One day they were here the next they weren’t, I remember coming home from school and finding it
very strange that I couldn’t smell my mum’s cooking, so I looked around the house for them but
couldn’t find them, I noticed the car was gone and thought they must have popped out so I didn’t
think anything of it. When it got to 11.00pm and they still weren’t home I started to get worried, so I
went upstairs in my parents room and that’s when I noticed that everything had gone. And so that’s
when I was sent to live with my Aunt and Uncle in a little Sub-urban area which is called Hue, I’m
sorry could you give me a minute...’
With this emotional topic bringing back bad memories, were now going to see what his life was like
living with his aunt and uncle once he has returned.
So, Ryan what was your life like living with your aunt and uncle?
‘It was okay at first but then I started at the new school and the boys there were tough and
malicious, I got into a couple of fights and lost them all, and so I decided to toughen myself up and
fight back,, but it changed me and I got a taste for fighting for a bit and enjoyed beating the shit out
of people, seeing their teeth flying around and their blood gushing out,, but there was a
consequence, I spent a bit of time in prison where I spent most of my time thinking about what I
could do when I got out and also did a lot of rap and singing, and spoke to my aunty and uncle about
it every time they came to visit, and they gave me the inspiration I needed to get back on my feet
once I was out and make something of myself, it was never their fault that I was the way I was, they
brought me up fine, they were amazing it was all me and the decisions I decided to pick.’
2. So this new album you’re bringing out, do you think it will be successful and is it aimed at anyone in
particular?
‘I hope it’s successful, but yeah the lyrics are meaningful and the music playing is kind of like the
other single I brought out, but more amazing, and considering the last one was ecstatic I have a
positive attitude for this album as well. And to answer your other question yes, not the whole album
but one of my singles are aimed at two people actually, my parents, it tells my story of what
happened to me, but in a more specific and healthier way.’
So what is your new album called and this single you’re talking about?
‘The album is called ‘Wasted Mistakes’ and the single which I hope to be a massive future hit is
called ‘Running Away.’
So Ryan, do you think you will ever have children in the future?
‘I hope to have children, I think I would like to have 3 all together, so I can bring them up
marvellously, better than anyone, but more importantly I want to be someone
that their proud of, I want my children to be proud to tell people I’m their dad, I will always be
there.’
After this review into R-Bax’s life and his history, I think people will feel sympathy for this poor lad
and hope the best for him in the future, but most importantly everyone best be getting ready for
this NEW album as I have heard it’s going to be ecstatic! His new album is suppose to be bigger than
any album released this year, Rihanna's, Beyonce's, Jay-z’s, Nelly’s, or even Jessie J’s, now
considering these are all amazing artists, this music is meant to be like nothing you’ve heard before,
he has been working on this album for a very long time and has put a lot of time and effort into this
album and has been on hold waiting to come out at the perfect time.
Also other news I have heard that in 2013, R-Bax will be doing a joint solo with Rihanna, and Jessie J
bringing out our new 2013 future hits. In sociological terms, by 2020 R-Bax should be a famous,
loved character around the world, and from his quotes ‘with 3 children’, but the question is, who is
this lucky star going to be that has his 3 children, is R-Bax dating anyone now, or is he keeping it a
secret too well, maybe we’ll find out soon in next week’s magazine, or maybe Ryan will kindly do
another review and tell the whole truth as he loves doing.
