Q Live- Double Page Spread
Both pages in this magazine feature
frequent informal language, however
they only appear in this way on
quotations from specific artists/band
members.
This will help to focus on the specific
target audience as the language used
will help to relate to them.
I am likely to use some informal
language, possibly in the way it has
been used in Q magazine, through
quotations. As mentioned it will help to
relate to the audience. However I will
try to keep a range of formal language
throughout.
3.
The tone I would like to use will
depend on the language I use.
Through researching Q magazine, a
mixture of formal and informal
language may help to keep interest
in the article and create a balanced
tone throughout when reading it.
This will also help to attract the
target audience I aim for in creating
this magazine, focusing on people of
ages 15-30.
4.
Use of occasional slang will help to relate
to the audience and to balance out the
formality of the article/magazine. This
type of writing may be used In captions or
otherwise quotations.
I have decided to write in a fairly casual
form, but still keeping a level of
formality, for the double page spread of
my magazine as the audience may feel
more comfortable and suited to the text
they are reading. This also suits the genre
of music to be presented in the magazine.
