1. I imported my image into
Picnic where I added the
black and white effect to it
so it would match the
image on the front page

2. I then painted in the
image using the
paint brush from
the black and white
effect , so the
character will be
reverted back to the
original color.
I then saved my
image and used it in
my magazine

3. Firstly I imported
my image into
Picnik

4. I then used the
black and white
effect for the image
again and I then
painted the face of
the character in the
original color,
similar to the other
images

5. I then Cropped the
image so that the image
was halved and I would
use on half of the
characters face in my
double page spread

6. This is what my image
looked like after I had
cropped it. I then saved
this image and then
imported it into my
double page spread.
