4. CHARACTER
DEVELOPMENTDetective –
The detective is personally responsible for the death of the women he ignored. He is a blunt
and rude character, very moody, he is a commanding character and is reminiscent of
Inspector Goole from 'An Inspector Calls', in the way that he speaks to a room of people
and has a heavy presence.
Three murderers –
The three murderers wanted information from the women and are part of a larger
organization. You don’t find out many character traits as they are anonymous characters
and you don’t really see their personality's, but the way the act towards the murdered
women is very heartless and emotionless, as it is a job for them.

her character, a secretive side and a normal everyday side, and her mood changes
depending on the scene.

7. TARGET AUDIENCE
PROFILE
Our target audience is a female
preferably aged 14-24 she's
you're stereotypical teenage
girl, likes boys, hangs out with
friends, goes to
Starbucks. She'd probably wear
the newest trends and is
always on her phone, either
texting or on social media.
Going to cinema is a 'must'
according to her, as she needs
to see the latest movies no
matter the cost.
Our target audience is a male
preferably aged 14-24 he's you're
stereotypical teenage boy, he
likes skateboarding, and is a bit
of a nerd and likes Star wars.
However, he is social and hangs
around with 'mates'. He doesn't
visit the cinema often but when
he does it's probably a horror
film or a thriller. Like our female
target he uses his phone to visit
social media sites, however he
doesn't use it as frequently as
the female.
We've come to a conclusion of both of our male and female target audiences equal each
other out making them both important to us as creators.
8. HOW WILL OUR OPENING SEQUENCE APPEAL TO
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE?
Our target audience is mainly
targeting 14-24 year old's, however
the film is more set for a female
audience as our research shows us
that females watch more of this
style of film. But this doesn't mean
the film is only for females, about
48% of our target audience will be
male. Our title sequence will engage our audience by
using mystery to draw them in as our title
sequence leaves a lot of questions e.g.who are the
killers, what's so important about this
information? As well as this they will want to see
how our detective deals with Lucy's death so we
are using drama as well to appeal to the younger
audience, and we are using relatable characters
so the females may be more interested
