Batch reporting allows users to run reports through a queue process that may run anytime or nightly. There are two main types of batch reports - Oracle reports and procedure process batches. Batch reports are made up of packages, object libraries, tables, report templates, and other components. Card and mail reports are specific types of batch reports that are used to combine and filter donor information for mailings and cards. Batch reports integrate with the online DMS system by allowing users to build queries to populate report parameters and submit batch reports from the online interface.

The business needed are: Combine Spouses 1 per Household Substitute Address Solicitation Mailing 2 or 3 up Cards etc… The main difference between Mail and Card reports is Mail eliminates Donor with no addresses. Integrated with our Query to filter our Donor to finite list based on criteria’s.

10. How does Batch Report integrate with DMS? Batch Reports are submitted from the On-Line system. Query population build are used in Batch Reports. Parameter screens setup user options for Batch Reports. Batch Report are setup thru our security and report interface.

11. Real Life Batch Report as submitted daily for anytime or nightly jobs. User defining their Query and using it in Batch Report give them a lot of flexibly and powerful reporting. Their card reports are a big part of events run by JUF. Batch Report can be emailed directly to the User.
