CSFB FROM LTE WITH DMCR &
Without DMCR

CSFB subscribers roam with preference on LTE access, no CS-voice service available (only
PS based services)
Fallback triggered to overlapping CS domain whenever voice services are requested and
resumed LTE access for PS services after call completion.
CSFB is enhanced with support for DMCR to decrease the call set up time. If
the DMCR capability is on and the DMCR is activated in SIB3 then the UE is allowed to send
message on RACH or act on received message on FACH before complete reading of
SIB11/SIB12/SIB19.
The feature Deferred Measurement Control Reading provides faster call setup time
for CS Fallback from LTE with release with redirect.
1. Introduction
1. Purpose
This instruction is used for the CSFB From LTE with DMCR (FAJ 121 1610 ) activation
procedure by MOS Script on software level W12B in RNC side.

CS fallback triggered UE release to WCDMA - Idle Mode.
1.PRECONDITION
•Enable licence key file CsFallbackLte (CXC 403 0106) in the RNC
•The timer on the eNodeB to control user inactivity is “tInactivity Timer” which is set to 10 sec. UE performs the
normal attach and goes into idle state due to user inactivity.

1.Verify the gain of 1 second in CS call setup using CSFB with DMCR in WCDMA/LTE test environment.
2.PRECONDITION
.

CSFB is enhanced with support for DMCR to decrease the call set up time. If the DMCR capability is on and the DMCR is activated in SIB3 then the UE is allowed to send message on RACH or act on received message on FACH before complete reading of SIB11/SIB12/SIB19. The feature Deferred Measurement Control Reading provides faster call setup time for CS Fallback from LTE with release with redirect. 1. Introduction 1. Purpose This instruction is used for the CSFB From LTE with DMCR (FAJ 121 1610 ) activation procedure by MOS Script on software level W12B in RNC side.
