This document summarizes several design projects by Divyesh Kumar including: 1. An international convention center in Navi Mumbai with a void space and roof cuts to tackle humidity and provide natural light. 2. A zero energy treehouse with solar panels and air ducts to equalize energy input/output. 3. Renovation of an existing market place in Fossano, Italy to include administration, housing, and commercial spaces while maintaining the classical central axis. 4. Measured drawings in Jaisalmer, India which demonstrated passive design techniques used in the arid climate.

Zero Energy concept by combining solar panels and air ducts
Zero Energy Tree House Design was conducted by
Indain Green Building Council, (IGBC).
A retreat house for a small creative family.
Designed by considering the LEED rating for making
system to equal input and output enegy of the
house.
Hence considered various innovative step and
integrating as a part of design ,in order to nullify the
carbon consumption.
An Award winning entry and won Jury
Recommendation at National Level

5. Renovation ,Restoration and Expansion of Forro Boario, Fossano ,Italy.
During my internship at Avventura Urbana,Torino Italy.
This projects aims to develop existing market place (Forum) renovation and
extending it to administration buildings, housing and commercial spaces.
Project was an attempt to resolve and satisfy the client that is Municipale de
Fossano and project developer of Forum , Pirelli Construction.
Designing a terrain site along with the contextual relation with the surrounding
was a great challenge. Several trials were made for generating a site to make
out good efficiency of land resource.
Classical principle of central axis through market were maintained along with
the introduction of visual interaction of city from the west side. Hence made it
possible to reach and connect with the central plazza fom the city side.

6. Measured Drawing at Jaisalmer,Rajasthan, India.
Jaisalmer, Rajasthan is a arid region with extreme
temperature throughout the season.
Learnt the “Passive Design Technique” by using
mutual shading and Shading devises like Jharokha
which keeps thernal difference between the
building envelopes.
Use of local available material and tight planning of
a city makes a habitable and unique. Stones serves
the purpose of maintaining the moisture content
inside the building.
