The email communications, tracking internet usage, tapping phone conversations etc are monitored using software or applications. This will affect the privacy of the employees. f. Safety and health hazards- Sometimes the employees are injured due to the firm’s non- compliance to the safety and health measures. The HR is faced with the ethical dilemma when justice is denied to the victim. g. Layoffs- Though the layoffs is not considered as illegal, the way the layoff is communicated to the employees poses a major challenge to the HR in terms of the ethical issues. The HR should keep in mind how the bad news is communicated to the employees and provide adequate time for them to get another job..
