needed. The decrease of 2 persons may not seem like a lot; however with continued education,
vaccination, and awareness of prevention, this could indeed signify a downward trend of acute
HBV. The trend of occurrence over the course of each year, 2010 and 2011, shows a steady
increase without any major spike or deviations (appendix A amp; B). With the transmission of
HBV being mainly from drug use and exchange of fluids between infected individuals (sexually),
there is no factor that should cause a spike. Continuing preventative measures will promote
lowering the incidence of occurrence, however until a cure is found HBV will still register a
minimal number of cases a year.

In the discussions of underdogs, one controversial issue has been that being the underdog means

The Flying Dutchman seemed to favor epic drama over the emotional transparency, which is rather

I don t think the vocals ever overshadowed the orchestral music, which is not the case in most
operas. Puccini s Turandot had a markedly different sound from the other two operas. The obvious

Introduction
Within this assignment I will be exploring the influence of concussion within KS3 rugby and
discuss the signs and symptoms it has on young athletes and the impact it has on their return to
physical activity.
Understanding concussion
Before we can recognize the symptoms, we must first understand what concussion actually is.
Minor traumatic brain injury (Mtbi) is the medical term used when there is a sudden onset but
brief loss of cognitive function that occurs after a blow or other moderate trauma to the head that
jars or shakes the brain inside the skull. Normally, the fluid around the brain acts like a layer of
protection that keeps your brain from knocking into your skull. However, with moderate force, the
brain can hit the cranial/ mandible and become injured. Signs and Symptoms
The signs and symptoms of a concussion can be very evident or it can subtle and may not be
immediately apparent. Depending on the severity, Symptoms can last for days, weeks or even
longer.
Common symptoms after an Mtbi are headache, loss of memory (amnesia) and confusion. The
amnesia, which may or may not follow a loss of consciousness, usually involves the loss of
memory of the event that caused the concussion. Other symptoms can include; Headache or a
feeling of pressure in the head, Temporary loss of consciousness, Confusion or feeling as if in a
fog, Amnesia surrounding the traumatic event, Dizziness or seeing stars, Ringing in the ears and
Nausea.

Report about the movie Invictus The movie Invictus tells a small part of the story of Nelson
Mandela, ex president of South Africa and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for helping his country
to fight against the apartheid. In the movie, Mandela (Morgan Freeman) had just left prison and
become the president, with the intention of unite the people and make them live without racism

and all the supporters of the team were white, while black people, who liked more soccer, hated

He did a very good job with the team that now had a black player representing all the black people.
The team was not only playing better, but also was gaining support from everyone.
The players had to go to a poor neighborhood to shoot a marketing commercial for the World Cup
playing with some kids. That was perfect for the president goals because it would prove that black
people did not hate the team anymore, show the country they could be united and support the
Springboks together. The players, except the captain, did not want to go (about 56min), because
they thought it would be a waste of time and they should be practicing, not playing with poor kids.
FranГ§ois told them they had to go because they were more than a team now, they were the hope
for a mixed and united country. South Africahad changed, so they had to change too. The players
went to the poor neighborhood and played with the kids. It was a transforming experience for
them and for all the country. Now people were realizing how black and white people must be in the
same places and live the same life. Everyone has to be represented and only now black people
knew how that was like. Springboks won the World Cup while people from both races watched
them playing in the stadium. Everyone was supporting the same team together, as a nation should
be and everyone was very happy. Mandela made them feel like they were all from the same people
