  1. Approx 250 students 21 D&T, 13 PG 5 places for Engineering, 5 for ICT Had already discussed developments in 14-19 and not sure how well strand 2 would be received or how I would go about selecting students – asked for straw poll. Right number! Knowing students, not too concerned about subject knowledge due to backgrounds and interests As programme developed and students were in schools and involved in diploma discussion and teaching, had a few more enquiries about possibility of joining strand 2. Ended up with 9 students
