Digital storytelling involves ordinary people using digital tools to tell personal stories in an engaging format. It can be used for education, personal reasons, therapy, advertising, and promoting democracy. The process involves selecting an audience, brainstorming ideas, choosing a theme, writing a manuscript, including pictures and/or video clips, using software to combine the elements, narrating the story with voice, text and music, and publishing the story.
