Scientists can identify key details about dinosaurs like what they ate and how big they were by studying their fossilized bones. Dinosaurs lived from about 230 million years ago until 65 million years ago when they went extinct, possibly due to an asteroid impact, and came in many different shapes and sizes both large and small and some could even fly.
