More Than Meets The Eye.
Dinosaurs roamed the earth millions of years ago.
        And then...they mysteriously disappeared!
Since then Archeologists have been digging them up, and
the question is...How did the dinosaurs die?

How Did The Dinosaurs Die?
How Did The Dinosaurs Die?
The main theory is an astroid hitting the earth and killing all the
                            dinosaurs.

Another theory is that they died of starvation because there wasn’t
enough plants to feed the herbivores. The herbivores die out
depriving the carnivores of their food.

                              There is another theory that
                                  the dinosaurs died of
                                retardation because they
                              couldn’t hunt for themselves
                              because they relied on their
                                    mummies to do it.
Humans might of hunted the
dinosaurs to extinction. There is
proof that there is a human
   footprint next to a dinosaur
footprint dated to the same time.
The human was not a caveman.
Gods made dinosaurs as one of
the creatures on earth. In the
bible it talks about an animal
with a wide body and a tail as
think as a tree trunk. Some say
that it might have been a
  hippopotamus, but do hippos
       have a big tail? No.

✦ An Ice age
✦ Being poisoned by poisonous
    plants
✦ Other animals ate their
    eggs
✦ A supernova exploding
    nearby, spraying the earth
    with radiation
✦ A large volcanic explosion
✦ A passing comet, poisoning
    the earth with chemicals

But how did dinosaurs defend
                 themselves?

Dinosaurs were one of the biggest strongest animals to
have ever walked the earth, but how did they protect
             themselves from enemies?
Some Had Armour...
Some Had Armour...
✦ Ankylosaurs are covered with armor for protection and have
tail clubs to defend from predators.
✦ Stegosaurs have spikes at the end of their tail. They may have
swung their tail to protect themselves from predators.
✦ some dinosaurs attacked with large claws and sharp teeth. For
defence, others swung a tail club, used horns, and some had
spines on their tail. Males may have fought to impress a female.
some had speed...
some had speed...
✦ A few of the late, bird-like dinosaurs may have used
their short, feathered arms to help speed up their
running and perhaps glide from trees to the ground.
Dinosaurs probably used their tails for balance while
moving and some may have used their tails for quickly
shifting their balance - helpful for outrunning
    predators.
others weren’t so lucky...

✦ Big meat eating dinosaurs could sneak up on
easy prey and dig it’s teeth into it’s flesh. The
Tyrannosaurus Rex especially had big claws
and teeth that could rip into any unlucky
    victim.

Dinosaurs were fantastic creatures -
just be thankful that they are not
          around anymore!!
