This document is a diary of a film production team working on the short film "The Silhouette Man". Date: 14/04/15
What did I do today?
Started the shot list with Tanim and started typing up the first part of the recce.
What did my team do today?
Tanim started the shot list
Laolu started writing up the script.
Liam finished the treatment and proposal so we knew details of our film.
What am I going to do next?
Continue the recce.
Date: 16/04/15
What did I do today?
Went to our filming location and took pictures for the recce so the cast and crew knew
where we shooting.
Started the risk assessment for our filming locations.
What did my team do today?
Tanim started the document on our actors and why we choose them.
Liam started to type up the storyboard.
Laolu finished the shot lost with Tanim and continued with the script.
What am I going to do next?
Add the images I have taken to the recce and then continue the risk assessments.

Date: 21/04/15
What did I do today?
Took more pictures for the recce and then completed it.
Finished the risk assessment so we know the risk on our filming location.
Created location permission form so we could film on that location we out being sent away
by the police or any other authority.
Stared the production schedule.
Got one of our actor release form signatures. This was done so we had permission to have
their likeliness in our film and as proof as them agreeing that we could use them.
What did my team do today?
Liam, Tanim and Laolu went out and took pictures for our storyboard.
Liam then photo shopped the photos and placed them in the storyboard making it easier to
get shots ready when filming
Tanim completed the actor release forms. Getting permission from our actors to use their
likeliness.
Lalou finished off the script so the actors knew what lines they had to rehearse.

What did I do today?
Went back to recce a backup location in case we had any trouble with our original
location when it came to filming.
What did my team do today?
Liam, Laolu and Tanim went to get some missed pictures for a storyboard. They went and
got more photos of the storyboard because some had been missed out and some extra
shots needed to be added in to make the storyboard full accurate.
What am I going to do next?
Go back and see if any improvements can be made

What did I do today?
I went back to the production schedule and made changes to sequences of filming and
props and costume.
What did my team do today?
Laolu did part of the shooting script with Liam putting shots of order of story which would
later be changed.
Tanim finished production roles making sure everyone knew what their roles were.
What am I going to do next?
Make sure that everything is completed.

What did I do today?
Made final additions to the recce and production schedule by adding more on the
accessibility of the backup location and added estimate times for filming on the production
schedule.
And uploaded all work onto blog.
What did my team do today?
Laolu made final changes to shooting script and put the shots in order that we were going
to film them in so we can have better continuity in the film.

Liam finished the call sheet so everyone knew their roles and what person was bringing in
costumes and props and who was getting equipment.
What am I going to do next?
Date: 09/12/14
What did I do today?
Started to think of ideas and came up with our first idea which was about a fight called
first fight but we decided that the idea wouldn’t work as there wasn’t much of a story to
the idea.
What did my team do today?
Laolu and Liam came up with the first film idea but we decided not to use it as it would
have a poor story.
What am I going to do next?
Continue to think of ideas for our short film.
Date: 11/12/14
What did I do today?
Worked with Laolu and started to write up write up the storyboard as he was doing the
script so we could plan out what shots would be used in the film and to list how many shots
would be needed.
What did my team do today?
Laolu came up with our second film idea the silhouette man a comedy film which we all
agreed on. We then thought about the characters in the film and Laolu started to write up
the script for the film and Liam started to write up the treatment and proposal so we could
get a rough idea of the setting, and characters that are going to be used in our film.

What did I do today?
Went to start our second day of filming but the camera we had wouldn’t record any
footage so went home.
What did my team do today?
All there ready to film apart from Liam who was in Ireland.
What am I going to do next?
We are going try again to get our second day of filming done.
Date: 05/05/15
What did I do today?
We shot the second day of our film of our film on a different date than originally planned
because we had trouble with camera.
What did my team do today?
Also were there shooting the film apart from Liam who was ill.
What am I going to do next?
We are going to import our footage on to final cut and edit it. We are also going to check
to see if we have all the shots needed.

Checked with the rest of the group that we had all the footage needed and started to edit
the film
What did my team do today?
Also looked through the footage to see if all the shots were there and if any needed to be
added.

We are going to import our footage on to final cut and edit it. We are also going to check
to see if we have all the shots needed.
