I went against the convention of leaving a gap between logos and credits by starting the credits immediately. This was inspired by the film "Bang Bang You're Dead" and helped identify the cast.

- 1. Q1 The genre of my film is British action. In any film that is made there has to be typical elements in it. This is because the film would not be able to fit into any genre at all and therefore no audience would be interested in it. Secondly because where these typical elements have been used before they have been successful, therefore if you want to make your film successful then you should include them in it. Another reason why you should add them in your film is because it gives you a basic template or outline to plan and make your film. However even though you have to stick to a proven pattern you have to change this pattern slightly. You have to change the pattern slightly because you have to keep the audience interested in something new otherwise it will just be like other films and will be very boring for the audience.
- 2. Title. The word redemption means where someone has to do right for something that they have done wrong in the past. Therefore this will encourage the audience to find out what the character has done wrong in the first place and secondly will he redeem himself for what he has done wrong. But the way we have set the title out makes a big impact to the audience. Firstly the black background with the white title on makes the title really stand out.
- 3. Setting/Location This is the setting for the Loan Sharks office. We thought that it very well for him. Firstly because the it seems like a very intimidating place. Also the boss is sat at the head of a big table with his two body guards sat either side Of him. This is very typical of a criminal boss. Another feature of the office is that there is Nothing on the desk. If the boss was a legitimate business man then there would be a computer or some paper work. But because he is a criminal he has nothing on his desk.
- 4. One thing that I did to change the pattern was to add the rewind effect in to my film. I think that this effect worked really well in my film. I think this for two reasons. Firstly because people commented saying they liked it on my audience feedback. And secondly as quite a keen watcher of action films I think that it fitted really well into the film and it was nothing like I had seen before.
- 5. How characters are introduced This Character is introduced in a bad way. The first time you are introduced to the character he is stealing some money from an envelope. His appearance sets him out to be just an average guy with a bit of a thuggish look to him. The first impressions you get of him is that he is a decent guy who has got himself into some trouble.
- 6. How characters are introduced Th is the second time you are introduced to the loan shark. And the impression that you get of him is that he is a classic thug. You get this impression because he looks very intimidating stood over the top of you. Also he is holding a cricket bat looking like he is going to hit somebody with it. One other thing that gives you this impression is that he has is hood up which makes him seem very intimidating.
