What did I do today?
We was put into our group and started to think of ideas for a short film, we picked the
genre thriller as we know that this genre is best for our target audience.
What did my team do today?
Discussed ideas for our short film, we came up with 3 ideas and started to think if they
were practically possible to do.
What are you going to do next?
We are going to develop our ideas and decide which one is best suitable for our target
audience and if it is possible to achieve.

What did I do today?
Decided on an idea for a sort film, the idea for our film is to have a girl being followed by a
man, however it would have a twist to it which the audience wouldn’t expect. We started
to organise our pitch and decide who was saying what.
What did my team do today?
Started to do the pitch and make a slideshow with our idea on to present to our fellow
peers.
What are you going to do next?
We are going to present our idea to our peers and get feedback as they are the target
audience we want to appeal to for the short film.

What did I do today?
We pitched to our peers and got feedback on our idea on our film, as they are our target
audience. They liked the idea and thought it was easy to accomplish.
What did my team do today?
Pitched to our peers and the feedback was positive but a comment which was made was
how were we going to film in one of the locations as it is a public place.
What are you going to do next?
We are going to check if the public place was okay to film and if we will need to get
permission to film at that location.

What did I do today?
We started to look around and check if the locations were suitable which they were so we
decide to stick with them.
What did my team do today?
We then started to think of a script and if we wanted our film to have any speech, which
we then decide that we weren’t as we wanted to build tension in the film and not give our
twist away too early in the film
What are you going to do next?
We are going to think over the film and see if we can add anything else to make it extra
special than everyone elses.

What did I do today?
Everyone got their jobs in what they was going to do on the pre-production my role was to
do the storyboard and shot list.
What did my team do today?
Michelle and Anthony worked on the script together and decide on if our film was going to
have any speech in it or not. I started to the storyboard and shot list. We decide that we
was going to have a minimum of 15 shots which is what I applied to the storyboard and
shot list, we choose this as we want to make sure we had enough for a 2 minute video.
What are you going to do next?
Complete the storyboard and shot list and make sure that they have a minimum of 15
shots in them.

What did I do today?
I continued with the storyboard and shot list I made sure that I had at least 15 shots and
that they would lasted up to the 2 minute limit.
What did my team do today?
Anthony and Michelle finished the script and start other separate parts for pre-
production. Michelle started the shooting schedule, presentation and health and safety
assessment. Anthony started the production roles, shot script and the call sheet.

What are you going to do next?
Finish the storyboard and shot list and see if any of my group need me to complete
anything for the pre-production.

What did I do today?
Uploaded the storyboard and shot list.
What did my team do today?
Michelle was doing the shooting schedule and making sure it matched up to the
shooting schedule. Anthony continued on the work he was doing before.
What am I going to do next?
I asked if any of my group need me to do anything else, Anthony asked me if I could
complete the location recce, so I decide I will go to the site tomorrow and assess it and
take pictures.

What did I do today?
Anthony asked me to do the location Recce as he hadn’t had time to do it as he had to do
his other tasks. I went out to the location and took pictures of the location and assessed
it.
What did my team do today?
Anthony finished off the call sheet and production roles. Michelle uploaded the
presentation and then finished off the last bits need for the health and safety and the
shooting schedule.

What am I going to do next?
Type up what I found when I went to the sites and make sure I insert the pictures I took
when I went on site.

What did I do today?
Uploaded the location recce and then started to think when we are going to film and
check with the actors.
What did my team do today?
Everyone uploaded all the pre- production we had been working on separately. We decide
that we was going to film this weekend as we were all free and so were our actors.
What am I going to do next?
We are going to go filming and try and shoot all the shots we need.

What did I do today?
We did practise shots to check if the shots we had picked were suitable for our genre and
film.
What did my team do today?
We all filmed the practise shots and then went into the mac room to check if we thought
they were suitable and if they would work. The shots were all fine and everyone agreed to
film this weekend.

What am I going to do next?
We are going to shoot our film and make sure that we can get everything we need. Also we
need to remember our props which was books.

What did I do today?
Everyone meet up at the location with the actors and we went to shoot.
What did my team do today?
We were all filming and we got about 8/9 shots until the camera battery had died which
meant we were unable to film anymore. We all decide with the actors that we would film
the other shots we need next week.
What am I going to do next?
Meet up with my group and actors to re film parts we were unable to do before and make
sure we have up to 15 shots..
