2. Diary Entry 1
Firstly we as a group discussed possible movie ideas that we had as a group. We then elaborated on the ideas and
discussed the pros and cons of each of our ideas. Whilst discussing what ideas we could have we compared them to the
movies that there similar to and how the movie actually done in the real market. Once we had decided what movie we
was going to shoot we had to decide on what types of shots we could use in the movie. We done this by completing a
preliminary task this involved our group filming each other to get a different arrange of shots. We decided to make a
story board so that we was definitely able to get the shots that was asked of us in. the first shot we completed was the
shot reverse shot once we had recorded this we then decided on using a match on action shot. Finally we had to learn
about the 180 degree angle shot. Then we created our synopsis which was like a blurb of the movie explaining and
trying to attracting the interests of possible viewers of the movie. After making our synopsis we watched some movies
with a similar plot to ours and analyzed the good and the bad of them this meant that we was able to take the good of
them movies and put them ideas into our movie and make sure that the bad side of them movies wasn't in it. Next me
and my group then decided to analyze some different movie shot that we thought was really good because they was a a
strong shot that builds suspense and entices the viewer into the movie and decided to add or use some of these shots in
our movie. Then me and my group decided on making our first storyboard of the movie this was only basic ideas of
what was going to happen with no shot types but only what will happen. Then after making this we was tasked to make
a story mountain this was when we planned our start middle and end of the opening scene for the movie this meant that
we was able to plan what was going to happen in what stages. Then we went on to the internet to look for unlicensed
music that we could use in our movie this is because its illegal to use licensed music. Finally there was shot types that
we made a video of all the different shots that we could possibly use when we are filming and the effects that these have
on the viewers.

3. Diary Entry 2
We have had a change in plans as we have decided on a change in plot and location
with some similar shot that will still be involved. I made a PowerPoint presentation
on the codes and conventions of a horror movie meaning that we was able to use
this information when we was shooting in our movie to make it as close to a real
horror movie as possible. Then we discussed the props that we would use we
decided on using either a fake axe or a baseball bat and ended up with the baseball
bat as it was easier to get hold off. Then we decided on the clothes that we was
going to use we decided on to use a clowns mask this was something out of the
norm and it was something that we already had. Finally we decided on the location
which would be in the film this is because we was trying to film outside of school
but it was getting to dark to quickly. Finally we made our final storyboard which
has all the direct shot that we was going to use and all the places where the shot
would be filmed.We had starting to film our movie and we have started to film basic
shot of the clown. I helped with some of the filming by taking some shot of the
clown zoomed in on the mask and a tracking shot of the clown.

4. Diary Entry 3
Recently I have started to continue on our coursework. The first piece that I have
started was the codes and conventions of the horror genre. This means that we are
able to make our movie in the genre of horror. This means that we are able to make
our movie definite of what we was going to have in the movie. This would mean
that we would be able to make our movie fit the genre and link to any normal. Then
we worked on the props location and the clothing. This means that we would have
rarely any continuity issues when we are filming as the clown. Also this means that
we was able to link to the way that we are filming our movie. This also means that
we are able to complete our location and the description of the movie and how we
was going to film in certain places. Next I completed the target audience this was
when what age range we decided to base our movie at this means that we was able
to aim our movie at a certain group. This meant our movie was more molded to a
specific group of people which was teenagers interested in the horror genre. Also
we completed more filming this means that our movie has almost been completed
this means that we have very little left to film on our movie meaning that we are
almost complete on all of our work.

5. Diary Entry 4
Today we started to make changes to our film and by doing so meaning that
we was able to help to make our movie better than what it previously was.
As well as doing acting I was able to film some of the shots that I wasn’t in.
also we went out and took some still pictures of the clown in locations
around the school which acted like the students photography work. Once we
had finished filming we started to edit and by doing so meant that the movie
was starting to take shape. Also I started to finish off my last pieces off
coursework this meant that I no longer had anymore work that I had to
complete for my movie. This meant that I completed my genre research by
completing this it meant that we was able to work out whether our movie
would fit into the genre of horror by doing so this meant that we was able to
follow the conventions of a typical horror movie. When asking others there
conventions of the horror movie they said what we should do to make it fit
the stereotype and how they expect the genre to be like.

6. Diary entry 5
Today me and the rest of our group started to finish of our film this was firstly done
by us filming the rest of the shots that we had left to film and putting them all
together so that we had a finished piece and this meant that we was able to analyse
the movie our selves and meant that we was able to work out any weak points of it.
This then lead to us reshooting some of our shots so they had higher quality or was
in focus and meant that we was able to complete the rest of our movie. Then I had to
finish the last pieces of our coursework this was my character research this was
research into other characters that are in a similar position to our characters. By
doing this it gave us an insight in what we could do to change our characters and
make them more effective in the movie. Finally is completed a storyboard of the
changes that I had made this meant that we as a group knew what shots to make and
what parts we had to play in them either by filming or editing them.

7. Diary entry 6
Today I started my shot analysis and said what was
good about the shots and what was bad about or
shots. By doing this it meant we was able to release
what shots we was going to think about what shots
you wouldn’t use next time if we was going to film.
Also we started to think about the evaluation of our
movie and describing what happened in our movie.
