Cloud-based Communications Platform-as-a-Service (CPaaS) technology is helping enterprises consume carrier resources in totally new ways through programmable interfaces. Through CPaaS, Enterprises can add real-time voice, video, and messaging into their own applications and systems without taking on a hefty infrastructure build. They can often reduce costs by selecting resources and features from self-service portals that offer instant provisioning and allow unprecedented integration and customization.
When he described Facebook’s operating philosophy as “move fast with a stable infrastructure”, Mark Zuckerberg could have been defining the template for today’s most successful and prosperous enterprises.

Enterprise CPaaS (eCPaaS) is an important development in CPaaS. The CPaaS platforms are maturing, the use of templates/wizards under a self-service model with IT governance is exactly the model we’ve seen discussed by enterprises using Telecom APIs like Medtronic at TADSummit. It’s an interesting development, with an initial focus on the Banking industry, then expanding into Insurance, and beyond.
hSenid Mobile will be sponsoring the Chicago location of TADHack Global this year. Giving people a chance to hack on eCPaaS, and we’ll see the results of those hacks presented at TADSummit Americas.

Digital transformation: Paving the road for growth in logisticsaccenture
Over the past two decades, as the Internet revolution swept the world, our day-to-day lives have become increasingly digital. With email eclipsing ‘snail mail’ and digital downloads replacing physical products, this could well have dealt a devastating blow to the logistics industry. Industry stakeholders should take notice and come together to prioritize digital transformation initiatives given the potential for significantly higher value to be created for society than for industry.

Consumer industries: Working harder for customersaccenture
Consumer industries touch people's lives in a way that few other industries can match. Digital innovation is shaking up consumer industries: shifting power from brands to consumers, shifting value from traditional players to digital insurgents and putting the consumer in the driver’s seat. Consumers are making companies work harder to earn their money.
One of the main challenges for IT companies is to keep their expertise on the cutting edge of technological trends. The Knowledge Communities allow us to better manage client projects by having more accurate knowledge of our capabilities and expertise.
These communities bring together our subject matter experts across entities and borders. They invite employees to develop their professional networks with peers in their domains of expertise and to benefit from social learning by sharing, solving problems and developing knowledge around innovative topics.

ECOMMERCE LOGISTICS & USER EXPERIENCE: COME CAMBIANO LE ASPETTATIVE E LE ESIG...Concordia Srl

Microservices represent the latest response to the challenge of building dynamic, scalable, and high-performance services and are already widely used in high-volume, mission critical applications, but as with any emerging concept the term “Microservices” is surrounded by a considerable amount of hype, and a lot of confusion. A growing number of organizations are discovering that while the promised benefits of microservices can be realized, it takes a considerable amount of planning and effort to effectively embrace the approach.

Our 20 years of existence anchored in technologies that will enable our clients business to flourish, accordingly our focus now is help you win the digital battle with a unique consideration of its impact on your systems and structures.

Our Services
In alignment with our Positioning as the Digital Transformakers who’s mission is to help their clients “Win their Digital battle” Our Services are designed in three main transformational domains that cover our client needs throughout the transformation journey.
Business Digital Transformation
IT Transformation
Transformation Management
Below is a brief description for all three domains that represent the core of our service offering
Business Digital Transformation
Digitalization is an aim for any business. Business who succeeded in riding the digital wagon managed to achieve 30-40% better performance results than those who did not.
Business Digital transformation is focused on enhancing the business performance in 4 main domains
Their customer experience. How can we make it better, faster, more agile, and more productive
(Example:- the enablement of e – services in more than 50 government entities)
Their Business operations performance. The focus here is to enhance the return on assets for our clients. This being the ultimate objective of any business. This will be achieved by reducing their cost, enabling them to operate more efficient, faster and more agile
xample :- Tabadul, CCHI, SWCC, MoHajj, ERP selection for several clients)
Their Analytical and business intelligence capabilities . A major element in the success of any business is the ability of the management to make the right decisions ate the right time. This will only happen when you have the right platform that will ensure that management have access to all the business data that is needed
(Example :- ADA project )
The innovation in their Business Operating model. This is focused to deliver to the clients new way of delivering their services and charge for it. Innovation outcome could impact the whole organization or it could be focused on one of the above elements in the Business digital transformation. Hence the outcome could be changing the whole operating model similar to our experince with CCHI, GACA IT and Tabadul, our it could be focused on a specific area of the business similar to what we did for the ministry of Hajj where our work was mainly on changing the engagement approach used by the pilgrims coming to Mecca
(Example:- CCHI, GACA, Tabadul, MoHajj)
Our Business Digital Transformation offering is focused on helping our clients select the right solutions to address their needs and achieve their visions in the above mentioned domains. As well as work with them to see these solutions through to success and full fledged operations.
IT Transformation
Driven by the Business Digital transformation our clients need to transform their IT department to help drive the business requirements, accordingly IT departments require transformation and hence the focus of our second Service Offering pillar is based on addressing this via the following four domains
IT Strategy & Procurement
(Example :- GACA, SWCC, MOA, MCS, …etc.)
Governance Risk & Security (GRC)
Cloud Transformation
(Example :- Mobily)
IT Operation excellence
( Example :- STC, Mobily, Oreedoo, Abu Dhabi Police, ADIA, MOI, …etc.)
The above mentioned four domains are meant to ensure that the IT department is transformed in a manner that will ensure its new positioning being the center of the Digital change and the partner for the business success
Transformation Management Office
After all the planning that we do for our clients to help them drive their Transformation, they are in need to establish the right governance to manage the execution of the developed transformation plans.
Our approach to help our clients develop the right platform to manage their transformation journey, and we do that through the establishment of specialized offices/ functions to manage transformation. These are
Strategy management office (Example SWCC, ….
Portfolio & Program management office
Architecture Management office
Quality Assurance Management Office
Change Management Office
Devoteam Engagement Approach & Mapping of the Service Portfolio
Our engagement approach is derived from the transformation journey of our clients. In this slide we will show how our services are mapped to our client “transformation Journey “ stages
As a reminder our Client Transformation journey is composed of
Drivers for the Transformation . This is the vision/ strategy / pain or need that will drive the transformation
Design & Setup of the transformation. This is the stage where the Transformation journey will be designed and the roadmap for implementation will be designed. This roadmap will include the initiatives that are needed to be implemented to achieve the transformation
Enablement Of Transformation. This is stage where the client will develop the organization that will help manage the transformation implementation
Implementation of the Transformation . This is the phase where the transformation is implemented. And all the initiatives outlined in the “Design & Setup “ stage are implemented
Devoteam Engagement Approach ( How does it all fit together )
In Devoteam we align our Services with our clients’ transformation journey. The below description will provide insight on how it is all set together
Drivers for the Transformation Journey
This is the first step of our engagement. We call this step “ State of Departure Analysis” This is extremely important step because it help us to map our clients objectives / strategy into our Transformation Wheel that represent the platform used as an input to the next phase
As outlined in the transformation wheel any client objective, strategy vision or even specific KPI has to fall in one or more of the following six categories of the Transformation wheel. These categories are
Enhance Financial performance ( is our client focus on reducing cost enhancing revenue, and / or better return on assets )
Enhance Existing business Customer Service performance ( is our client focus to enhance the way his organization are serving their client using the same processes that they have today)
Enhance Existing business Service delivery performance ( is our client focus to enhance the way his organization are delivering on their services, the performance of their operations using the same processes that they have today)
Enhance Existing business Management performance ( is our client focus to enhance the way his organization are using the data from the operation to make better decisions ) enhance the performance of all above business domains through Innovation ( is our clients looking for a total new way to enhance their business whether on their customer service, operations or even their operating model)
Enhance the IT performance ( is our client focus to ensure that his IT department is at a stage that is able to deliver what the business is in need for
Accordingly and once the elements of the transformation wheel are filled with our client objectives then we have clarity on the “State of Departure” of the project and that will allow us to move clearly to the next phase of the project.
Please note that the objective of this phase ( State of Departure Analysis) is to understand what are the drivers behind their request for the transformation. The objective of this initial phase is to answer the question “What do our clients really want to achieve from this specific transformation journey ?” .
The outcome of this phase will be the right input to our team to design the approach to be used to deliver the service offering that will help[ the client achieve their objectives
(Please refer to Transformation Wheel description)
Please note that in certain cases this stage could be chargeable to the client specially when the client need, vision or pain is high level and it needs work to be done to outline it properly … at that stage we can offer the client a visioning stage or an assessment stage for a short period ( 4 to 6 weeks) to help articulate the vision into clear objectives that can be mapped to our service offering
Design & Setup of the Transformation:-
This is a very important step in the transformation journey of our clients. In this step we will design and setup the transformation journey based on our service offering. It is to be noticed that all our Service offerings need to pass through this stage.
Our Service offerings are divided into three types
Services that will continue from the design stage to the enablement of the implementation all the way to the implementation ( such as the Transformation Management Office)
Services that will move directly from the design stage to the Implementation stage without having a component at the enablement stage ( such as the ITSE, Cloud, Business Process automation) services
Services that will trigger another type of service offering at the end of the design stage ( such as IT strategy, once done it will trigger a Transformation Management service offering or ITSE service offering,… ets.)
This step has to be fully aligned with the first step in the client transformation journey
The outcome of this phase will be
Either a set of initiatives that the client will need to implement in order to achieve the objectives that will eventually address the reason for the change and ensure that we have the right results to meet the initial vision. These initiatives will be focused around defining the
Business architecture for the services that need to be digitalized
The needed technology to address the change in any of the 4 main business domains discussed above.
The needed organizational change
The governance rules that are needed to ensure the alignment of the new platform
The strategy for the IT department including the design of any IT related initiatives in domains such as Risk & Security, Cloud, and ITSE
Or it will be the architecture for the services that will be used in the next phases ( such as the design of the PMO or the architecture of the software implementation)
Enablement of Transformation:-
As it is outlined in our client transformation journey, and once the design and setup phase is done and just before we start the Implementation of the Transformation, our clients will move into the “Enablement of the Transformation” phase.
In this phase our services focus is on the setting and establishment of the “Transformation Management Office “ that is composed of several sub offices that will eventually manage all the initiatives that will be implemented. These sub offices are
Strategy Management Office
Program management office
EA management office
QA management office
Change Management office
Implementation of tools needed to operate these offices is also included in this phase
Implementation of Transformation
The forth phase of the transformation journey is related to the implementation of the transformation initiatives. In this phase we offer the following services
Implementation of the following systems
ITSM systems … using BMC technology
Monitoring Systems … Using BMC technology
Asset Management … Using BMC technology
Cloud Management ….. Using BMC technology
