Cloud brokering service is an intermediate service which enables the producer-consumer business model
enforcing the easy access to cloud services from Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). Cloud broker is to
provide a platform where broker collects the information from the user, analyze the data, and sends those
data to the CSPs. Cloud broker also provides data integration services and modeling the data across all the
components or units of the cloud services. This paper deals with designing criteria and issues of cloud
broker, system activity of broker, and sequence diagram of system design with implementation procedure.

Design & Development of a Trustworthy and Secure Billing System for Cloud Com...iosrjce
Cloud computing is an important transition that makes change in service oriented computing
technology. Cloud service provider follows pay-as-you-go pricing approach which means consumer uses as
many resources as he need and billed by the provider based on the resource consumed. CSP give a quality of
service in the form of a service level agreement. For transparent billing, each billing transaction should be
protected against forgery and false modifications. Although CSPs provide service billing records, they cannot
provide trustworthiness. It is due to user or CSP can modify the billing records. In this case even a third party
cannot confirm that the user’s record is correct or CSPs record is correct. To overcome these limitations we
introduced a secure billing system called THEMIS. For secure billing system THEMIS introduces a concept of
cloud notary authority (CNA). CNA generates mutually verifiable binding information that can be used to
resolve future disputes between user and CSP. This project will produce the secure billing through monitoring
the service level agreement (SLA) by using the SMon module. CNA can get a service logs from SMon and stored
it in a local repository for further reference. Even administrator of a cloud system cannot modify or falsify the
data.
A Threshold Secure Data Sharing Scheme for Federated CloudsIJORCS
The document proposes a secure data sharing scheme for federated clouds. The scheme uses a Trusted Cloud Authority (TCA) that controls participating clouds and generates private and public keys. Each cloud encrypts a secret value using its private key without knowing other clouds' values. They run a secure multi-party computation to calculate an encrypted sum polynomial. The TCA can later recover the original secret value from the sum polynomial without learning individual secret values. The scheme aims to ensure privacy and integrity of secret data shared between clouds during distributed computations.

As part of this trend companies are migrating business critical and sensitive data stored in database to cloud-hosted and Database as a Service (DBaaS) solutions.Of all that has been written about cloud computing, precious little attention has been paid to authentication in the cloud. In this paper we have designed a new effective authentication scheme for Cloud Database as a Service (DBaaS). A user can change his/her password, whenever demanded. Furthermore, security analysis realizes the feasibility of the proposed model for DBaaS and achieves efficiency. We also proposed an efficient authentication scheme to solve the authentication problem in cloud. The proposed solution which we have provided is based mainly on improved Needham-Schroeder’s protocol to prove the users’ identity to determine if this user is authorized or not. The results showed that this scheme is very strong and difficult to break it.

Cloud computing has recently emerged as one of the buzzwords in the IT industry. Several IT vendors are promising to offer computation, data/storage, and application hosting services, offering Service-Level Agreements (SLA) backed performance and uptime promises for their services. While these „clouds‟ are the natural evolution of traditional clusters and data centers, they are distinguished by following a pricing model where customers are charged based on their utilization of computational resources, storage and transfer of data. They offer subscription-based access to infrastructure, platforms, and applications that are popularly termed as IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and SaaS (Software as a Service). In order to improve the profit of service providers we implement a technique called hybrid pricing , where this hybrid pricing model is a pooled with fixed and spot pricing techniques.

Single Sign-on Authentication Model for Cloud Computing using KerberosDeepak Bagga
ABSTRACT
In today’s organizations need for several new resources and storage requirements for terabytes of data is generated every day. Cloud computing provides solution for this in a cost effective and efficient manner. Cloud computing provides on demand resources as services to clients. Cloud is highly scalable and flexible. Although it is benefiting the clients in several ways but as data is stored remotely it has many security loopholes like attacks, data lose, other security and authentication issues. In this paper we are proposing an authentication model for cloud computing based on the Kerberos protocol to provide single sign-on and to prevent against DDOS attacks. This model can benefit by filtering against unauthorized access and to reduce the burden, computation and memory usage of cloud against authentication checks for each client. It acts as a third party between cloud servers and clients to allow secure access to cloud services. In this paper we will see some of the related work for cloud security issues and attacks. Then in next section we will discuss the proposed architecture, its working and sequential process of message transmission. Next we will see how it can prevent against DDOS attacks, some benefits and how it provides single sign-on.

Several theoretical notions related to trust have also been explained extensively in the paper for Cloud service provider selection.
SenseChain: A Blockchain-based Crowdsensing Framework For Multiple Requesters...Maha Kadadha
In this paper, we propose a decentralized crowdsensing framework for multiple requesters with multiple workers built on Ethereum blockchain- SenseChain. Crowdsensing frameworks utilize workers’ sensing capabilities to fulfill requesters’ sensing tasks. While crowdsensing is typically managed by a centralized platform, the centralized management entails various challenges such as reliability in workers’ selection, fair evaluation for payment distribution, potential breach of users’ privacy, and high deployment cost. The proposed solution, SenseChain, is a decentralized crowdsensing framework developed to run on Ethereum blockchain to mitigate said challenges while increasing users’ engagement, with reasonable cost. SenseChain is developed around three smart contracts: 1) User Manager Contract (UMC), 2) Task Manager Contract (TMC), and 3) Task Detailed Contract (TDC). These contracts implement the platform features such as maintaining users’ information, publishing tasks from multiple requesters, accepting reservations and solutions from multiple workers, and evaluating solutions to calculate proportional payments. The framework is implemented using Solidity and Web3.js, where a real publicly available dataset is used. The framework performance is compared to a centralized greedy selection framework to demonstrate its comparability while mitigating tackled challenges. The results in terms of solutions quality, time cost, and workers traveled distance confirm its viability as a solution for crowdsensing.

CONTAINERIZED SERVICES ORCHESTRATION FOR EDGE COMPUTING IN SOFTWARE-DEFINED W...IJCNCJournal
As SD-WAN disrupts legacy WAN technologies and becomes the preferred WAN technology adopted by corporations, and Kubernetes becomes the de-facto container orchestration tool, the opportunities for deploying edge-computing containerized applications running over SD-WAN are vast. Service orchestration in SD-WAN has not been provided with enough attention, resulting in the lack of research focused on service discovery in these scenarios. In this article, an in-house service discovery solution that works alongside Kubernetes’ master node for allowing improved traffic handling and better user experience when running micro-services is developed. The service discovery solution was conceived following a design science research approach. Our research includes the implementation of a proof-ofconcept SD-WAN topology alongside a Kubernetes cluster that allows us to deploy custom services and delimit the necessary characteristics of our in-house solution. Also, the implementation's performance is tested based on the required times for updating the discovery solution according to service updates. Finally, some conclusions and modifications are pointed out based on the results, while also discussing possible enhancements.

Efficient architectural framework of cloud computing Souvik Pal
This document discusses an efficient architectural framework for cloud computing. It begins by providing background on cloud computing and discusses challenges such as security, privacy, and reliability. It then proposes a new architectural framework that separates infrastructure as a service (IaaS) into three sub-modules: IaaS itself, a hypervisor monitoring environment (HME), and resources as a service (RaaS). The HME acts as middleware between IaaS and physical resources, using a hypervisor to allocate resources from a pool managed by RaaS. This proposed framework is intended to improve performance and access speed for cloud computing.

It discusses several common security issues in cloud computing including multi-tenancy, insider attacks, outsider attacks, elasticity, security performance and optimization, information integrity and privacy, and network level attacks. It also describes some techniques for securing data in cloud computing such as encryption algorithms, authentication and identity management, and auditing support. Finally, it discusses some risks and considerations regarding cloud computing security such as insecure APIs, data loss, identity theft, and shared technology issues.
A Virtualization Model for Cloud ComputingSouvik Pal
Cloud Computing is now a very emerging field in the IT industry as well as research field. The advancement of Cloud Computing came up due to fast-growing usage of internet among the people. Cloud Computing is basically on-demand network access to a collection of physical resources which can be provisioned according to the need of cloud user under the supervision of Cloud Service provider interaction. From business prospective, the viable achievements of Cloud Computing and recent developments in Grid computing have brought the platform that has introduced virtualization technology into the era of high performance computing. Virtualization technology is widely applied to modern data center for cloud computing. Virtualization is used computer resources to imitate other computer resources or whole computers. This paper provides a Virtualization model for cloud computing that may lead to faster access and better performance. This model may help to combine self-service capabilities and ready-to-use facilities for computing resources.

Trust Assessment Policy Manager in Cloud Computing – Cloud Service Provider’s...idescitation
Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access
to a shared pool of configurable computing resources. Reliability in compute cloud is an
important aspect in Quality of Service which needs to be addressed in order to foster the
adoption of compute cloud. In today’s integrated environment the distributed systems is
employed to carry out computational intensive task at a faster rate without much
investment. The Cloud is a multitenant architecture which allows faster computation with
high scalability at a lower cost thereby the users can share the same physical infrastructure.
Individual customers deploy their applications in such environment will occupy the virtual
partitions on the platform. This paper describes a straightforward procedure to analyze the
reliability of the application from the view point of the resource provider. A trust
component is implemented to provide preventive control and to mitigate the occurrence of
any non-permissible action by using the detective mechanism. Such mechanisms are used to
identify the privacy risk and it further prevents from utilization. Hence, in this paper trust
assessment is performed before the user is allowed to share the multitenant infrastructure.
The cloud can provide scalable and reliable service for the legitimate users. The proposed
work is tested using tools Aneka and Globus Toolkit.
ANALYSIS OF THE COMPARISON OF SELECTIVE CLOUD VENDORS SERVICESijccsa
Cloud computing refers to a location that allows us to preserve our precious data and use computing and
networking services on a pay-as-you-go basis without the need for a physical infrastructure. Cloud
computing now provides us with powerful data processing and storage, exceptional availability and
security, rapid accessibility and adaption, ensured flexibility and interoperability, and time and cost
efficiency. Cloud computing offers three platforms (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) with unique capabilities that
promise to make it easier for a customer, organization, or trade to establish any type of IT business. We
compared a variety of cloud service characteristics in this article, following the comparing, it's
straightforward to pick a specific cloud service from the possible options by comparison with three chosen
cloud providers such as Amazon, Microsoft Azure, and Digital Ocean. By using findings of this study to not
only identify similarities and contrasts across various aspects of cloud computing, as well as to suggest
some areas for further study.
This document summarizes a research paper that assesses collaboration frameworks in multi-cloud environments. It explores the viability of cloud service providers collaborating to offer diverse services without heavy infrastructure spending. The paper reviews several proposed collaboration models and frameworks, including a proxy-based framework using different types of proxies, a unified multi-cloud infrastructure using open service models and configurable federations, and a proxy-as-cloud-broker model using dynamic scheduling algorithms. The paper concludes that multi-cloud environments can eliminate vendor lock-in for consumers and allow services to be accessed based on preference and need rather than a single provider. Key challenges to collaboration include standardization and security across provider platforms and services.

This document summarizes a literature review on security issues and techniques in cloud computing.

With the recent increase demand for cloud services, handling clients’ needs is getting increasingly
challenging. Responding to all requesting clients with no exception could lead to security breaches, and
since it is the provider’s responsibility to secure not only the offered cloud services but also the data, it is
important to ensure clients reliability. Although filtering clients in the cloud is not so common, it is
required to assure cloud safety.
In this paper, we made use of multi agent system interaction mechanisms to handle the cloud interactions
for the providers’ side, and of Particle Swarm Optimization to select the and determine the accurate trust
weight and therefore to filtrate the clients by determining malicious and untrustworthy clients. The
selection depends on previous knowledge and overall rating of trusted peers. The conducted experiments
proves that the combination between MAS, PSO and trust outputs relevant results with different number of
peers, the solution is able to converge to the best result after small number of iterations. To explore more
space and scenarios, synthetic data was generated to improve the model’s precision .
The document proposes a model that uses multi-agent systems and particle swarm optimization to select trustworthy cloud clients. Agents represent cloud providers and clients and interact to determine clients' trustworthiness based on previous feedback. The model converges to identify malicious clients after a small number of iterations. Experiments showed the combination of these techniques produced relevant results for different numbers of peers.
Improved quality of service-based cloud service ranking and recommendation modelTELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
One of the ongoing technologies which are used by large number of companies and users is cloud computing environment. This computing technology has proved that it provides certainly a different level of efficiency, security, privacy, flexibility and availability to its users. Cloud computing delivers on demand services to the users by using various service-based models. All these models work on utility-based computing such that users pay for their used services. Along with the various advantages of the cloud computing environment, it has its own limitations and problems such as efficient resource identification or discovery, security, task scheduling, compliance and sustainability. Among these resource identification and scheduling plays an important role because users always submits their jobs and expects responses in least possible time. Research is happening all around the world to optimize the response time, make span so as to reduce the burden on the cloud resources. In this paper, QoS based service ranking model is proposed for cloud computing environment to find the essential top ranked services. Proposed model is implemented in two phases. In the first phase, similarity computation between the users and their services is considered. In the second phase, computing the missing values based on the computed similarity measures is calculated. The efficiency of the proposed ranking is measured and the average precision correlation of the proposed ranking measure is showing better results than the existing measures.
Cloud computing security through symmetric cipher modelijcsit
Cloud computing can be defined as an application and services which runs on distributed network using
virtualized and it is accessed through internet protocols and networking. Cloud computing resources and
virtual and limitless and information’s of the physical systems on which software running are abstracted
from the user. Cloud Computing is a style of computing in which dynamically scalable and often virtualized
resources are provided as a service over the Internet. Users need not have knowledge of, expertise in, or
control over the technology infrastructure in the "cloud" that supports them. To satisfy the needs of the
users the concept is to incorporate technologies which have the common theme of reliance on the internet
Software and data are stored on the servers whereas cloud computing services are provided through
applications online which can be accessed from web browsers. Lack of security and access control is the
major drawback in the cloud computing as the users deal with sensitive data to public clouds .Multiple
virtual machine in cloud can access insecure information flows as service provider; therefore to implement
the cloud it is necessary to build security. Therefore the main aim of this paper is to provide cloud
computing security through symmetric cipher model. This article proposes symmetric cipher model in
order to implement cloud computing security so that data can accessed and stored securely.

A CLOUD BROKER APPROACH WITH QOS ATTENDANCE AND SOA FOR HYBRID CLOUD COMPUTIN...cscpconf
Cloud Computing is the industry whose demand has been growing continuously since its appearance as a solution that offers different types of computing resources as a service over the Internet. The number of cloud computing providers grows into a run, while the end user is currently in the position of having many pricing options, distinct features and performance for the same required service. This work is inserted in the cloud computing task scheduling research field to hybrid cloud environments with service-oriented architecture (SOA), dynamic allocation and control of services and QoS requirements attendance. Therefore, it is proposed the QBroker Architecture, representing a cloud broker with trading features that implement the intermediation services, defined by the NIST Cloud Computing Reference Model. An experimental design was created in order to demonstrate compliance to the QoS requirement of maximum task execution time, the differentiation of services and dynamic allocation of services. The experimental results obtained by simulation with CloudSim prove that QBroker has the necessary requirements to provide QoS improvement in hybrid cloud computing environments based on SOA.
Security and Privacy Solutions in Cloud Computing at Openstack to Sustain Use...Zac Darcy
Cloud computing is an emerging model of service provision that has the advantage of minimizing costs
through sharing and storage of resources combined with a demand provisioning mechanism relying on
pay-per-use business model. Cloud computing features direct impact on information technology (IT)
budgeting but pose detrimental impacts on privacy and security mechanisms especially where sensitive
data is to be held offshore by third parties. Even though cloud computing environment promises new
benefits to organizations, it also presents its fair share of potential risks. It is considered as a double edge
sword considering the privacy and security standpoints. However, despite its potential to offer a low cost
security, customer organizations may increase the risks by storing their sensitive information in the cloud.
Therefore, this study focuses on privacy and security issues that pose a challenge in maintaining a level of
assurance that is sufficient enough to sustain confidence in potential users.
In this study, survey questions were sent to different non-profit and government organizations, which
assisted in collecting fundamental information. The data was acquired by conducting surveys in OpenStack
Company to identify the critical vulnerabilities in the cloud computing platform in order to provide the
recommended solutions.
So, analysis will be made on how the cloud’s characteristics such as the nature of the architecture,
attractiveness, as well as, vulnerability are tightly related to privacy and security issues. Privacy and
security are complex issues for which there is no standard and the relationship between them is necessarily
complicated. The study also highlight on the inherent challenge to data privacy because it typically results
in data to be presented in an encryption from the data owner. Thus, the study aimed at obtaining a common
goal to provide a comprehensive review of the existing security and privacy issues in cloud environments,
and identify and describe the most representative of the security and privacy attributes and present a
relationship among them.
Finally, in order to ensure that the standard measure of validity is achieved, validity test was conducted in
order to ensure that the study is free from errors. Various recommendations were provided. The study also
explored various areas that require future directions for each attribute, which comprise of multi-domain
policy integration and a secure service composition to design a comprehensive policy-based management
framework in the cloud environments.
Lastly, the recommendations will provide the potential for security and privacy approaches that can be
implemented to improve the cloud computing environment to ensure that a level of trust is achieved

Trust Your Cloud Service Provider: User Based Crypto ModelIJERA Editor
In Data Storage as a Service (STaaS) cloud computing environment, the equipment used for business operations
can be leased from a single service provider along with the application, and the related business data can be
stored on equipment provided by the same service provider. This type of arrangement can help a company save
on hardware and software infrastructure costs, but storing the company’s data on the service provider’s
equipment raises the possibility that important business information may be improperly disclosed to others [1].
Some researchers have suggested that user data stored on a service-provider’s equipment must be encrypted [2].
Encrypting data prior to storage is a common method of data protection, and service providers may be able to
build firewalls to ensure that the decryption keys associated with encrypted user data are not disclosed to
outsiders. However, if the decryption key and the encrypted data are held by the same service provider, it raises
the possibility that high-level administrators within the service provider would have access to both the
decryption key and the encrypted data, thus presenting a risk for the unauthorized disclosure of the user data. we
in this paper provides an unique business model of cryptography where crypto keys are distributed across the
user and the trusted third party(TTP) with adoption of such a model mainly the CSP insider attack an form of
misuse of valuable user data can be treated secured.
Revenue Maximization with Good Quality of Service in Cloud ComputingINFOGAIN PUBLICATION
Cloud computing enables people to use resources and services without implementing them on their systems. Profit and quality of service is the most important factor for service providers and it is mainly determined by the configuration of a cloud service platform under given market demand. Single long term renting scheme is usually adopted to design a cloud platform which leads to resource waste and having more renting charges. The novel double renting scheme which is combination of short term and long term renting is aiming at existing issue. This double renting scheme will effectively and efficiently promises a good quality of service of all request and reduces the resource waste significantly. It also provides services with lower cost compared to short term renting scheme. It uses optimal queuing model to maximize the profit. That means the users can access the services simultaneously. The main objective of proposed system is, to maximize profit of service provider by providing efficient and effective services to user.

Multiple Descriptions of transformed image. The maximum
potential of this type of coding can be exploited with discrete
wavelet transform (DWT) of images. Two correlated
descriptions are generated from a wavelet transformed image
to ensure meaningful transmission of the image over noise
prone wireless channels. These correlated descriptions are
encoded by set partitioning technique through SPECK coders
and transmitted over wireless channels. Quality of
reconstructed image at the decoder side depends upon the
number of descriptions received. More the number of
descriptions received at output side, more enhance the quality
of reconstructed image. However, if any of the multiple
description is lost, the receive can estimate it exploiting the
correlation between the descriptions. The simulations
performed on an image on MATLAB gives decent
performance and results even after half of the descriptions is
lost in transmission.
Swiftly increasing demand of computational
calculations in the process of business, transferring of files
under certain protocols and data centers force to develop an
emerging technology cater to the services for computational
need, highly manageable and secure storage. To fulfill these
technological desires cloud computing is the best answer by
introducing various sorts of service platforms in high
computational environment. Cloud computing is the most
recent paradigm promising to turn around the vision of
“computing utilities” into reality. The term “cloud
computing” is relatively new, there is no universal agreement
on this definition. In this paper, we go through with different
area of expertise of research and novelty in cloud computing
domain and its usefulness in the genre of management. Even
though the cloud computing provides many distinguished
features, it still has certain sorts of short comings amidst with
comparatively high cost for both private and public clouds. It
is the way of congregating amasses of information and
resources stored in personal computers and other gadgets
and further putting them on the public cloud for serving
users. Resource management in a cloud environment is a
hard problem, due to the scale of modern data centers, their
interdependencies along with the range of objectives of the
different actors in a cloud ecosystem. Cloud computing is
turning to be one of the most explosively expanding
technologies in the computing industry in this era. It
authorizes the users to transfer their data and computation to
remote location with minimal impact on system performance.
With the evolution of virtualization technology, cloud
computing has been emerged to be distributed systematically
or strategically on full basis. The idea of cloud computing has
not only restored the field of distributed systems but also
fundamentally changed how business utilizes computing
today. Resource management in cloud computing is in fact a
typical problem which is due to the scale of modern data
centers, the variety of resource types and their inter
dependencies, unpredictability of load along with the range of
objectives of the different actors in a cloud ecosystem.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like
