3. Structure of Descriptive Text
Descriptive text structure consists of two parts, namely
identification and description.
1. Identification
The identification section contains the introduction of objects
to be described. For example, “What object?” Or “Where did
the object come from?”
2. Description
The description section contains a more specific explanation of
the object being described. In this section explain the
appearance and personality of the object.

4. Language Features of Descriptive Text
Language features of descriptive text consists of three rules
of language, namely adjective, simple present tense, and the
adverb of frequency.
1. Adjective
Descriptive text is inseparable from adjective.
When describing an object, we definitely use adjectives,
such as large, small, high, short, smart, friendly, and so on.
