Cervical spondylotic myelopathy is the common cause of acquired spastic paresis
in adults. The patient may present with the subtle findings in their gait or balance
that may have been present over years or with quadriparesis that developed over
the time of a few hours. The most unique feature may be the condition with its
subtle and varied presentation, so that its diagnosis requires a high index of
suspicion. Furthermore, they usually present with neck stiffness because of the
